does anyone own the nexus 4, and expansion packs, just done a reinstall of my os, downloaded from refx portal, would not show in factory directory, looked in nexus nks folder, no nksf preset files, messaged refx about it, they have just told me they have dropped support for nks, bummer, so i really need the nksf files to get nexus back up and running in my s series mk2, browser wise, would be a great help
I am updating my old nexus libraries and have all expansions so will have something available soon along with vanguard. As you can imagine, there are a LOT of files and will take some time to process and tag everything.

Also, if I need to re install Nexus, how do I do that? Do I have to un install it first and if so, how do I un-install the program? I normally don't have stuff like this happen to me so I don't know how to un install or re-install programs.
Before uninstalling, check if the location of the Nexus content is correctly addressed in the "com.reFX.plugins.Nexus.plist file. In my setup, this file is in Users->MyName->Library->Preferences. You can open it (after making a copy) in TextEdit.
I put the nexus content on my external hard drive. Do I need to put it in that section too? I don't think so but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure people use nexus and other vst sounds by putting the sounds on their external hard drive.
7. Open the file in the Preferences folder with TextEdit and see if the address there is the correct location for where you have the Nexus content. If it's not, change the address to the correct one and save the file.
Can you please help me fix this error on Windows 7. I have my mac in repair and I am using fruity loops for the moment just to keep making beats. Please, I would sincerely need your help. I get the same error when I try to load Nexus 2.2
I found a Solution that at least worked for me. you go into your nexus content folder E: \ reFX Nexus 3 \ Nexus Content . After that u go into the NKS folder and go into every Content Pack`s .preview folder. That will load the preview sound for each pack you go throught. Your welcome :3
Holy shit this worked. Just go to the folder Raidon mentions (in my case it was C:\Nexus Content and go to the NKS folder. Load each folder once by just navigating into it. The sounds should all be working after that
I got it working in FL studio, it opens and play sounds etc and can confirm that it works just follow the steps properly. All your old project with nexus 2 will now load this new nexus 3 instead of nexus 2 so make sure you got the old expansions of nexus 2 in nexus 3 and their presets to load the sounds in projects properly. The problems is i tried new Tropical house expansions it load them i can see presets in GUI but no sound!

hey guys, so i can get everything to show up
problem is that when i click on the preset i want, it will play the sample
but when i double click to load it, then it goes silent and nothing on the keyboards work.
There was a thing in Audioz when it was posted someone found this VSTI was sending data to ip addresses in China, we was told to block them and the ports. Sadly it has gone from Audioz and the text file I saved I accidentally removed. I noticed since it gets blocked in the firewall it stops loading the patches and only plays 2% of library the rest is locked. I used to work months back but I wiped my system and it no longer runs now, I have followed exactly the instructions and it only loads some samples 90% are locked.
Any advice now moving forward for the library not correctly playing sounds.?
I have downloaded this VST many times and it (nexus.dll) gets deleted by my WIN 10 every time. I have stopped my anti-virus to use it but again it is deleted every time I restart my computer. How can I make this .dll an exception? Can someone help me in telling me if it is not a VIRUS and if not then how can I keep in my computer so I can use it like a normal VST? Thank you.
I had this on my other laptop which had Windows 7 and it worked perfectly fine but recently I got a new laptop with Windows 11 and I installed it the same way but the software doesnt recognize any sounds and its just Nexus with init saw sound. is there any suggestions for me?
