Scale is not just a geologist's assumption, a geologist's world view.
Scale is an emotion.
Scale is a value system.
I had this conversaton with Jen Bradham, vertebrate paleontologist.
(Dr. Sweet said to be careful Manufactured Hoax Fossils from
biologists, field biologists may be just as cut-throat as the
biomedical field. Amen to that, as witnessed at UCLA).
Space and time can be a curse
As well as being a friend
It makes and breaks relationships
Time and time again.
It's funny how memory recollection works. I had a hard time
remembering that poem, until now. I had to peel the onion of my mind
until finally I cleared the dust and recalled the origins of this
poem--back at UCLA.
