Science Fiction Idea: United Organisms (UO, not UN) Declares Humans as
an Invasive Species

**ABSTRACT: In the wake of an alarmingly dire condition of Planet
Earth, all non-human organisms ecologically neutralize themselves and
convene in an abstract, theoretical, fluid-filled Sphere of Volvox to
conduct a first-ever series of intellectually amusing, collective
interpretations and negotiations on the subject of a peculiar group of
organisms called “Homo sapiens" and its various relationships to this
collaborating group of creatures. Discussions further elaborate into
the potential for how to solve and manage the problems incurred by
this species, who have been exploiting their fair share of space and
resources. Preliminary conclusions are reached (declared as invasive
species, imperialists) and an anticipated second meeting is arranged
in the very near future in order to elaborate methodologies of
management and biocontrol.
Very much similar to Vic's Poem 6 Billion Ways to View a Moderate Cube
of Space.

**The purpose of this pursuit is to understand the value of scale in
ecology as well as twist the value systems of ecologists in their
interpretations of their systems of study. It is a simultaneous
mockery of stakeholders' inefficient conducts of negotiation involving
a common resource and common environment. The purpose of pursuing
Science Fiction is to Think Outside the Box into the Unknown, such as
to find creative innovative ways on how to re-perceive the Knowns of
science, most progress of science is a form of repackaging and re-
organizing existing knowledge.

**Written as an Official Document (Government Report): A First Case
Study on Absolut Zoocracy
**Written in First Person, from the Aspiring Larval Tunicate or
Monkey… Aspiration in Acquisition of Consciousness, middle of the
world, bridging between invertebrate, vertebrate world, issue of
plants, fungus, and other scum included… The story should be written
from first person point of view from a young, eager, aspiring
Notetaker, hired to document the proceedings of the meeting. It should
be a very clever organism with an accidentally oversized brain, a
young cute monkey of sorts.

**SET-UP: There is a global conglomeration of remaining species of non-
human organisms who come together under Common Agreement, in order to
Ecologically Neutralize themselves, they are all aggregated into this
hollow sphere, much like a sphere of the Volvox, with a main committee
in the center, all immerse in water, each bubble of eyes on the outer
part of the sphere, forming the membrane consists a representative
organism of a supposed "species." And to further Ecologically
Neutralize themselves (such that there is no incentive to consume each
other or engage in competitive warfare), they all had to reach a state
of equal size in the bubble (or the "Perception" of Equal Size), and
to achieve this, they enter the Environmental Morphing Machine that
alters the Rules of Physics and Chemistry (bending spacetime and the
rules of building blocks) to achieve such equality. Uniform biological
soup in feeds all organisms through a tubing fractal network.

**ECOLOGICAL EQUALITY / NEUTRALIZATION: All organisms can also co-
exist based on equal size because their Value System and Morality is
Evolution by Natural Selection, though they suffer from mourning and
loss of loved ones in family and kin, they ultimately believe in the
notion of probability and statistics of survivorship and replication,
they do not support the Puritan absurdity of saving every single life,
even if the organism were a vegetable, doomed to die (much like
Christian human societies). They have a different "medical/life/death"
philosophy than humans (errr, humans who live in the United States).

**What about equalizing "Perception" / Consciousness? Equalizing
Communication Practices? I guess that is the essence of Common
Agreement. Each organism was given a pair of Biological Shades that
Allowed them to have nearly equal visual sensory abilities even though
each organism technically has a unique conglomeration of sensory,
processing, and communicative abilities.

**additional thought --> In addition to neutralization of size, there
had to be some form of “neutralization of consciousness” they had to
equalize their abilities of consciousness, not all of them are
multitasking processors of reality, like hydras and sponges only
respond to touch and they are pretty scatter-brained in their
responses, while fish are linear one-sensory processors, and birds and
mammals and octopi are much more parallel-processing integrated
thinkers… well, each creature had a different understanding of
consciousness, how is it going to work, some mammals and birds not
only think, but they think about their thinking, like crows and
monkeys… some are hard-wired and some are more plastic, so in essence,
there is a consciousness sorting much like democracy of society, multi-
tasking thought processors end up being in the university or business
leaders and linear single track thinkers are employees, linear
decentralized thought versus non-linear centralized thought, but in a
more different way, such that they have translators, hydras touch
mechanisms are translated into one common language, which has no name,
but is currently translated into English for the purposes of this
document… unknown language, being transcribed into English…

**classification of consciousness --> linear (single track), non-
linear (multi-tasking), decentralized, centralized, small-scale, large-
scale, general response-scattered brains, highly specific responses,
also characterize PERSONALITIES of stakeholders, PERSONALITIES of
organisms based on their roles…

**additional thought --> if you neutralize and equalize everything,
all organisms will look homogeneous, essentially the same, some form
of fetal blob-like creature or something…. So, don’t attempt to
neutralize everything. Just go through a threshold of neutralization,
just good enough to neutralize size and consciousness such that all
organisms can participate in conduct of negotiation….

**What about manufactured organisms? Artificially selected organisms
that are brainwashed by humans? What about pets? Are pets included in
the circle? Animals perceptions of humans range from positive, to
neutral, to negative? What about pigeons and spiders and crows? They
love human habitats. What percent of organisms in the entire sphere
are anti-human, neutral about human, and pro-human? All the pets are
brainwashed. You have been brainwashed the last 10,000 years! (Whole
range of human relationships with other organism, simultaneously
conflicting functions, consume some, makes pets out of others)

**Go to your favorite biology professors (and professors in general)
and ask them what is their favorite organism. Also go to Milton Love
and ask for advice about how to match stakeholder personalities with
organism personalities.

**All organisms have incentives to come together because whether
consciously or viscerally, they have largely come to the epiphany that
there is some general overarching problem related this certain group
of pestiferous apes called "humans" and based on this scattered
experience, evidence, had to come to certain conclusions, and what
exactly to do about it.

**TOASTMASTERS A LA ANIMALIA Y PLANTAE Y FUNGUS Y OTHER STRANGE SINGLE-
CELLED CREATURES: SPEECH: You can use the trick about short-term and
long-term thinking. Say, the keynote speaker is a rambunxious Larval
Tunicate, or potentially an Octopus, much like Alexios (in terms of
eloquent rambunxiousness), and can have this SPEECH: "We all have our
differences. We are different sizes and shapes and roles. We have
difference ancestries. But it all comes down to the same common
origins. We are all a part of that same mushpile slosh primordial soup
that started all of this. We have been through phases of collective
growth and collapse. We have shared our blood and guts. We may have
our differences. We have our own microcosmal wars. Our bloodshed. We
all need to consume each other to some degree, in small portions or
large. We all need to co-exist with each other, but we consume not out
of spite, just to survive, you know. Some of you have parasitized,
competed, collaborated, even become mutually, obligately dependent
upon each other for your co-existence (pointing to the coral reef and
the zooxanthellae).

**But we all need to set aside the negativities of our internal
technologies--whether it be sharp claws or pointy teeth or other
tricks of the trade--to set aside all of our warfaring tendencies in a
moment of co-existence, conversation, negotiation. And it may be,
instead of a War of Bloodshed then socially acceptable condition of
War of the Words.

**This is a turning point in the Evolution of Life on Planet Earth,
and we as Stakeholders need to have our voices being heard! (Much like
fishermen are being unrepresented in the MLPA process).

**But we all come together in this Sphere of Volvox, we return to our
primordial state of equal size and somewhat existence (in this buffer
zone).

**We need to see that it's all the same, even though it seems
different.
**We need to set aside our differences and find our common grounds.
And our common grounds is survival. Existence. And replication. (Some
swanky bioporn remark). And those stakeholders of planet Earth--those
humans--have been been taking more than their fair share of space and
time and biomass and energetics.

**RITUAL: As we please take a moment to mourn for the dead, and now
mourn for the Extant and Extinct. Species Concepts in Biology
converted to Races and Classes according to other organism’s point of
view… Mourn for the Geologically Dead (long forgotten, no written
record?) for the Most Recently Dead, at the Hands of Humans, moment of
silence. (irony in kelp forest the living organisms feed off the dead,
organisms live in their own graveyards without any burial rites of
passage)

**BASICALLY, VIC WILL HAVE TO STEREOTYPE THE TYPICAL PROGRESSION OF
HUMAN STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS THROUGH THESE ORGANISMAL CHARACTERS

**science (sluggish too dependent on tools), media (overly talkative,
he said she said no evidence), non-governmental organizations (puppets
to the business), government (sloth-like), business (parasites and
predators), think can operate as individuals when you are
fundamentally part of a larger, interdependent system, T rex only
exists on the context of the existing layers of “ECOLOGICAL
INFRASTRUCTURE” beneath it to support its biomass and energetics….

**PARALLELS OF HUMAN SOCIETIES AND BIOLOGY: what are the Biologically
Rich (large body size) going to get out of it and what are the
Biologically Poor (small body size) going to get out of it? Rich only
exist in the context of the poor--the small-sized base of the food
chain, so there is ultimately obligate mutualism between the rich and
the poor--hence equalized momentarily through body size, and that this
should not be taken out of context, rebellion, the rich cannot think
too selfishly and independently think they can jerk around all the
smaller bases of the food chain because the Rich consume a fraction of
them.

**Compromise between individual heart-wrenching stories and mass
statistics, whether they can be compromised and represented. We don't
know everything! Problems with data collection. Incomplete evidence.

**The Hollywood Factor, people's perceptions distorted by Hyper Media
Portrayal of a Few Case Studies rather than looking at the vast
majority statistics.
**Wonder whether the voting process is rigged like George Bush or
American Idol (in terms of surveys and data collection).
**Some problems with perception and language usage and the way how
they collect data about their environments.
**The Pets now Bite the Hands that Feed them. Not ready to sacrifice
their views. Outnumbered.

**NEGOTIATIONS: The organisms deliberate for several hours, through
extensive data collection, and tossing around several theories on the
condition of themselves and their surroundings, and their relationship
with humans
**few billions to millions of years, the pace and rate and scale of
all things is just of a magnitude not adaptable by the own abilities
of our genes and morphologies to morph and warp, we can't keep up!
Such imperialistic acts!
**But in the end, they came to the conclusion that humans were an
invasive species and that all non-human creatures (not manipulated and
brainwashed by humans) were dwindling greatly in size and number and
biological diversity (variation). And that if humans made an effort to
"save" some of the organisms they were at very small scale, but very
showy efforts, attempting to manage these organisms and their
ecosystems ARROGANTLY as IF THESE ORGANISMS CANNOT EVEN MANAGE
THEMSELVES--like they have been doing for the last few million billion
years. Arrogance of Manicured / Manufactured Landscapes! And plus,
they are being managed as if these organisms and their ecosystems were
low maintenance Leonardo Da Vinci paintings that can be placed in a
glass casing and tossed for viewing in an Art Museum. The Sarengetti
is essentially a Giant Cage Pin. Invasive Species. Imperialism. Half-
xss Saving of Organisms. What are they thinking? Other theories going
on. Meteorite. 6th Mass Extinction, Global Warming. It's all the
predators' fault. It's all the Prey's Fault. Pointing Fingers.
Blaming. Bad-mouthing gossip. All in front of the innocent eyes of the
chimp.

**What does global warming have to do about any of this?
**I hibernate. It affects my hibernating patterns. i migrate. i gott
do soemting, so climate change indireclty affecting you, though you
have NEVER seen a human before...

**Shock therapy or gradual change?

**THE PROBLEM WAS AFTER THEIR DECLARATIONS, WHAT TO DO? JUST SIT THERE
AND WATCH, DO SOMETHING? HOW DO WE SOLVE THE PROBLEM. WHAT KIND OF
RESOURCES DO WE HAVE? NOTHING MUCH, EVERYONE INSPECTED THEIR BODIES
AND THEIR TOOLS. STICKS, ETCETERA.
THEY ALL FELT HELPLESS, AS IF THEY WANTED TO GIVE UP. MOTHERS LOOKED
FONDLY AT THEIR CHILDREN IN GREAT MOURNING. INFERIOR TECHNOLOGIES IN
TERMS OF SCALE. IF YOU CAN’T OVERPOWER THEM WITH LARGE SIZE, THEN
ATTACK THEM FROM BEING SMALL, ATTACK THEM FROM WITHIN….

**TWO HUMANS INVADE THE MEETING, WITH AN INITIAL RESPONSE OF CHAOS:
Right when everyone was overcome with the sense of visceral and
conscious helplessness, depending on how many layers of brain mass the
organism had, two humans raided this first ever meeting.

**Then there are TWO RENEGADE HUMANS--Terra and Buz--who bust up the
meeting. Everyone flips out--oh my gawd--the Volvox is in a state of
unstable flux. Burn them to the stake! Parasitize them! Eat them
whole! Bite their leg off! No, lick them and beg them for food! Grow
all over them! Shxt all over them! All these different perceptions of
humans!

**SPEECH OF TWO RENEGADE HUMANS: Idealistic Terra and Buz proclaim
their great Three Muskateerish claims: We are here in support of
Absolut Zoocracy. We are Renegade Humans who define our Existence
Among Non-human Organisms. We have Abandoned our Own Kind.
**We were once fish. We were once tunicates. We were once you at one
point in our life, and so we return to our origins and roots of
existence! And we are here to help!

**OCTOPUS CONVINCES THE SPHERE OF VOLVOX TO ADMIT THESE TWO RENEGADE
HUMANS INTO THE GROUP --> the Octopus was very skeptical, and the
whole place was in clamor and chaos, but the Octopus, though
skeptical, was wise, to defeat the enemy, one must get to know the
enemy, attack from within. Despite the rage of the entire Volvox
Complex, the Octopus managed to calm them down, he suspiciously swam
and swarmed and inspected the two humans—full-body profile inspection,
no ownership of weaponry—while the Octopus convinced the entire Volvox
that these two humans with no home in the World should stay. "We many
need their help."

**Is it truly a war? Us versus them? It's all about co-existence with
them. Humans can be good or bad, depending on the scale and magnitude
of their operation. We just need to bring them down in numbers.
Everything is good in moderation. What is good or bad depends on the
scale. EVERYTHING IN MODERATION, INCLUDING MODERATION ITSELF.

**BIOCONTROL: When the mass ratio is out of proportion, if you can't
Consume them like a Predator, you Invade them like a Parasite. I think
you're going to have to parasitize the human brains. Model specimen:
Rhizocephalan Barnacle, please stand up to the podium. They operate
like mass swarms, most of them follow the protocol, only 1% invent the
rules. Those are the dangerous ones. Monsieur Bacterium you are
contracted. Multi-billion-trillion-dollar ordeal. You ain't doing your
job in biological control.

**Enslave humans just as humans have enslaved us. They are dependent
on us for their survival. You necessarily not--except for the
brainwashed organisms. Brainwash the humans just as the humans have
brainwashed and mass-produced us, as if we were biological machinery.

**EVERYONE'S ATTENTION SPAN WAS DIMINISHING TO ZERO. GETTING HUNGRY,
TIRED, NEED TO RESUME IN A NEXT MEETING: **Everyone was eager and
excited. Meeting was ajourned. Next meeting.
**Sphere of Volvox perceptually disintegrated as all organisms
dispersed among themselves around the globe, doing their usual thing,
hoping that one day the tiny organisms will step up to the foreplay.
Though they consume each other in their usual blood and guts and
collaborate and are mutualize, they still have new-found respect for
one another, awaiting for the next ajourning to the next meeting. To
test, if the small can win--if the small work by the masses.
