A few months after we got Cecil, we discovered an Off-Leash-Dog-Park that is 15 minutes from our home.  We have taken him there every day; usually early in the morning, and it has been a real learning experience for all of us!  He gets to run like a crazy dog, with his crazy buddies, as far as the eye can see, then comes home and lets me work!  I don't know what I would have done without this park; it is very large and wide open and I always think, "he is one lucky dog....."  I attach a couple of photos.  Happy Spring, everyone....

Crisanne,
Cecil is a lucky boy to have the park to go to everyday.  He looks happy &  not to mention he is a VERY HANDSOME boy!
Even though we have 20 acres of land & other dogs for Savvy to play with he has a tendency  to get over aroused & just runs in circles.  If other dogs are in the mix he can play for a little but something will always trigger him to disconnect & will start the circling or else he will want to start "herding" the other dogs.  I've had to control him in his environment & help him get enough positive, productive exercise since he can't seem to do it on his own yet. He is doing a lot better while in the house but can't handle wide open spaces yet off leash or even dragging a leash (he is almost 2 yrs. old).
Has anyone else had this problem or am I alone?
