 16 Years ago a litter of exceptional Border collies were born. We all gave them the best lives we could and had more fun with them then any other Dogs at that time in their lives. Kakoe opened up doors for me to continue learning and understanding the inner workings of how dogs learn and what motivates them. Training with One Mind Dogs then and to continue with them ever since has been a blessing. Kakoe got eggs this morning for his breakfast and a very spirited round of fetch. Please do us a favor, hug your dogs and just love them. That is really what it is all about

Give Kakoe extra hugs from Finnegan’s family. This litter was such a blessing in so many ways. We miss Finn so much but are so grateful for his long, healthy life and all the wonderful memories we made together.

Lost a tree part of fence and power for a few days but house is intact.  I am going to be looking for my next working dog, going back to a border collie. Who’s got the stable yet high drive dogs now?

Two breeders that I know, Platinum Border Collies and Leap Of Faith Border Collies. Platinum has an Irish working dog That is stunning! Past working champion if I remember right. Leapof Faith has awesome dogs. The owner is a professional trainer. All her Pups are brought up in Puppy Culture Program/ training So they are very stable. Health and temperament are her goal in keeping the breed stable. Her line does it all , from dock diving, frisbee, herding, Agility, show ring and I have been very impressed with her dogs. All her dogs are under contract and she is very serious about her Dogs. I think when you start your search you might want to pass on anyone who doesn't bring their litter up in Puppy culture program. I have had a lot of Dogs offered to me but have passed. Kakoe gets my attention as long as he is still with me. He is like the little brother I never had. Megan will be getting a Dog in 2023 and has asked me to train him/ her, so I may get some practice again. Talk with you soon.
