Thanksgiving 2021

Yola everyone!!

Just wanted to get a thread going for Thanksgiving this year.  We would like to take a family photo with everyone around 1030 AM and then follow up with a potluck at Auntie Glo's house for anyone that would like to join.

For picture locations, we were thinking of the Gasworks park (will need canopies and umbrellas), Kirkland waterfront gazebo, or Maguson Park.  Any other ideas for a place that would have a shelter large enough for our big family?

Lemme know if you're in for the photo and/ or potluck and any suggestions for picture locations.

Thank you Peachy for getting this threat going. We are in. But just throwing it out there could the picture be a bit later? We think somewhere around auntie Glo's house, or Kirkland, waterfront gazebo sounds great 😉.

We will bring shrimp ceviche and scoopable chips.

Time is good … ya never know how unexpected things may come up, but we will have to see how pictures will go. Kirkland is a good place…gazebo area? I’m down for any theme.

Kirkland sounds like a good plan & close to Auntie Glo's. We're planning on joining for pics. We are also down for any theme. Who knows... maybe umbrellas will be the theme..lol.

We're not sure yet what we're doing afterward.

Ok, so it sounds like we're all in for the Kirkland waterfront gazebo for the picture. Hopefully it's not occupied.  Bring umbrellas...they can be part of our theme as Ate Ween suggested.

Sooo… if it’s gonna be cold & maybe wet, we might want to be quick about this. Lol

Shall we agree to use the best camera/ smart phone around? Then the photos can be shared without taking too many duplicate photos. And does anyone have a tripod/ remote click for it for ease? I have an iPhone 11 pro with Apple Watch remote, but I think someone probably has a better option.

Ok, so umbrellas will be our theme.  Dress however you'd like for the picture.  

I'll check to see if my mom can find my dad's old camera tripod.  Anyone have an adapter for a cell phone?  If not, I also have my Canon camera that we can use unless someone has something better.
