Importing Bookmarks

Questions about the import feature:

Before I do it, I'd like to know if it a one step process that will
import everything or if I get some options, like selecting the folders/
tags I want.
This because I have some I would like to keep private and other which
are local (does queriac support file://?).

Otherwise I was thinking of importing from my social bookmarks. Will
any Netscape HTML bookmark file do?

I've edited my bookmark file to only have those I want, which are
mainly JavaScript but import does nothing.
So I'm wondering if it only takes smart search bookmarks, those with a
keyword?

That's correct. Bookmarks without keywords are skipped.
