Might as well start with this thread of my favorite Active Pace fleet, Is the current delivery of Eldorados on the plan of replacing some of oldest 6000s Orion VIs (Northwest Division)? I already know that at least 2 of VIs from West Division have been retired/ shredded like couple years ago but can't remember the number of units. Sadly, the Orion VI retirement will be the end of Orions at Pace for good after 25 years.

Not that high compared to at one time they were running roughly 6040-6071. More than likely the reason is that they lost almost all of their 40 foot 2003 NABis, and I'm sure that many Orion VIs are still running there is for the reason stated in your last paragraph, as CNG deliveries should start relatively soon.

If the Axess' bus order stops around #6500, then some south Nabis will probably end up at sw, as they have nowhere else to go after West. After that they'll probably look to send the south NABI's off to retire the #6600's. I don't know if they would go to River as that makes no sense unless they don't have enough Axess' for them. I thinking they might mostly end up at North if they have any extra 40 foot NABI's or they could always just send them south's #6600's and weed out the junk #6600's.

On this one, I'm not going to try to speculate what's in Melinda Metzger's head, other than there will be the need, in about 6 months (whenever these and the CNGs are delivered), to figure out what to do with all the Orion VIs at SW, and then somewhat further down the road* with the 35 foot buses at N.

Well you would think River losing the Nabi's are in the cards because they would probably want all Axess' for the I-90 project. Whatever SW does get ends up mostly on the timing of the CNG delivery. If the CNG's are late in arriving and we go past #6500 in Axess deliveries, then SW will probably just get the Axess'. Probably all those #6262's that south got will end up back at West. They might get some of the original 40 foot #6162's if there's not enough. West will probably not get anymore Axess' until a possible second round when they are deep in retiring Nabi's, but I don't think retirement of the #6262's are in the 5 year plan yet, so those will probably stick around. It's probably going to come down to does north get some Axess' or not. They should but you never know, they might end up with the #6262's.

Also entering into this is whether Pace eventually decides that 35 foot buses were a mistake (which its replacement of most of the original allocation with 30 foot buses seems to acknowledge) or is going to send out a solicitation for more. Like I indicated earler, I couldn't figure out why NS got rid of them. If S really needed buses in the short term, I thought it would rather have 40 foot ones.

6008 is not out there in tonight's evening rush. But 6032 and 6037 are out there so they are not gone yet. Pretty much all the 6100s mentioned are out there now. At this point, roughly around 20 Orions are left at NW.

Interesting to note that on the UPS route 390 right now, there are 2 30 foot Eldos running. That route has passengers filled to the brim on the Orions and CTA 60 footers. As a matter of fact, there are a number of Eldos on Webwatch on this morning's rush hour. Probably need to keep an eye on SW and see how many Orions are still running and which ones have been retired. Other than the ones already mentioned, I don't see any new Orions from NW that have been transferred to SW at this point

I'm sure a few of them are spares at the garage now or could come out after 4pm, but otherwise unless these buses were moved somewhere else (or more UPS buses show up after I looked), it is very possible at least 1/2 of these buses may be retired. And to Jesi's point, if 6157 was moved over there, my guess is that 6155-6161 may be coming as well.

ORION, a name synonymous with High Performance Car Audio Amplifiers introduces the new Universal XTR series Class AB 2 Channel 6000 Watts Amplifiers. The blissful unison of cutting edge technology and high performance components has resulted in the creation of these amplifiers that are sure to amp-up the volume in your car audio system.

The XTR series stands out from others by offering its customers the highest powered amplifiers in their Class AB series. The circuitry uses top grade components and the innovative designing of these amplifiers bring about impeccable sonic qualities. The components of the XTR series are of Competition Grade Build Quality and this combined with High Speed MOSFET Power supply makes it an efficient and ultra-sleek electronic device.

Let's start with the basics of adding or installing a car amplifier. First you will need to plan your installation and power wiring, this usually is the most difficult part of the installation for most.

What size power wire do I need for my amplifier? Well, that depends on the length of the wire and the power consumption of the amplifier. We walk you through how to choose the right gauge wire and wire material depending on your amplifier installation requirements.

In our third video we demonstrate the various ways you can wire speakers and amplifiers to all types of amplifiers. There different ways to do this depending on the type of amplifier you choose to purchase.

In our fourth video we demonstrate how to set the gains on your amplifier to prevent damage to your speakers, subwoofers and even possibly your new amplifier. Using a portable oscilloscope we show you how to set your gains.

Has anyone been able to upgrade the PO5-650 DDR5 memory successfully? I tried to install 32gb of Corsair Vengance 6000 and it does not work. I turn on XMP in the bios and then the system wont boot. I thought it would at least boot and run at 4000 or 4800. With XMP off the system boots and CPU-Z shows 32 gb of ram installed but Task manager only shows 16gb really bizarre! I read that the bios needed to be upgraded on the po5-640 to run higher DDR5 rates but latest released for the po5-650 is an A2 version - No B0 is available. If anyone has had any success let me know. BTW, I tried to use the crucial website but it never returns any recommendations.

yeah, that i can't answer that i know you guys don't have the same BIOS update as us PO5-640 users do and that's strange. and the highest i know anyone to use and work perfect is corsair dominator platinum 5600 2x16, i have 4x16 crucial ddr5@4800MHz and it works flawless. maybe call acer tech support and ask for level 2 help until one of the higher ups here might have an answer for you. what's the MHz with XMP off? and when you say it won't boot what is happening? because when i rebooted mine with XMP on it wouldn't either and i just kept hitting enter on my keyboard and that took me too my desktop to login. and i don't know why but i read somewhere just keep hitting enter if it hangs. i didn't get any beeps or long beeps or any noises it just wouldn't load at first.

The PO5-650 uses a H770 chipset, vs the Z690 in the PO5-640. They are both running DDR5, but an H chipset doesn't support overclocking. I don't think that's a BIOS option, it's in the chipset itself. So for a PO5-650 you need to stay away from the XMP profile memory modules and stick with JEDEC at the standard 4400 speed.

well i have the PO5-640-UB11 and i have 4x16 crucial ddr5@4800mhz and before the last bios update, we could not enable xmp at all and i was getting 4000mhz now with xmp enabled I'm getting 4800 and i have the H670 chipset. so maybe it can't go over a certain mhz? i know one guy here that has 5600 corsair dominator platinum 2x16 and it works flawless, and he has the same pc as me. so maybe 6000 is too high for it to handle.
