If you were to imagine a pizza night in the rolling hills of Tuscany then this post might be the reality of that imagination. Il borro has an old village which is very picturesque and a great ambiance. A smallish square surrounded by old buildings and a church. The pizzas are made in the village so it is all fresh. Along with pizza they of course had lots of drinks, 2 musicians and fresh ice cream.

Book your box by midday on Monday for deliveries to Arezzo and Siena and it will be delivered on Tuesday.
Book your box by midday Tuesday for Florence deliveries and it will be delivered on Thursday.
Delivery is made weekly, always on the same day: this lets us optimise the route and reduce CO2 emissions. You do not have to be at home. Just indicate an alternative; you can contact us by phone or email and we will choose the best option together.
The Organic Box always contains 4kg of organic vegetables and a carton of 6 organic eggs. Each week, in our organic garden, we select the best seasonal vegetables at their ripest. For this reason, it is not possible to choose the content beforehand.
Orders received by midday Tuesday for Florence and midday Monday for Arezzo and Siena will be processed the next day when the vegetables are picked. This will allow you to have fresh products packed just a few hours before delivery. After the Organic Box is packed, it is transported by our refrigerated van to ensure that the products maintain their freshness.
The 58 graciously appointed rooms and suites are spread between the ancient medieval village and the countryside area. Borrigiano is an enchanting cuve that brings an ideal balance of fine and harmonised use of wood and fresh, lively fruit to the glass. An interesting berry flavour and some plum confit on the nose. For us, Borrigiano is an ideal companion for convivial evenings and mild pasta dishes or risottos - it shows the great potential of this up-and-coming winery in an endearing (and affordable) way. Medium ruby red colour. A violet note on the nose with delicate hints of vanilla and spices. Powerful, fresh and very precise on the palate with dominant fruit and plenty of energy. A fine spiciness and saltiness on the medium-long finish. Very balanced and delicious. SUPERIORE.DE
Polissena shows the typical signature of Il Borro: the wines are made as typical of the grape variety as possible and therefore come into the glass as authentically and transparently as possible - particularly recognisable here with Sangiovese. The nose has a fine cherry flavour with hints of wild berries, forest floor, herbs and a little plum. On the palate, the typical acidity is paired with delicate fruit, a firm centre and a taut final. The 12-month maturation in used and almost neutral barriques is very conducive to the freshness and straightforwardness of the Polissena.
