is needed for the instillation in installation guide. In fact my oracle database server is located in some other place and we are accessing that from my location , so I need only client for accessing that. I am not sure what they meant by

For existing Oracle homes, ODAC re-installs the default to the same configuration setting chosen for that Oracle home from the previous installation. So I'm having issues installing ODAC version 12c on a users computer. When I try to install the Oracle universal installer starts up then fails with a message "Could not find the main class: oracle.install.ivw.odac.driver.ODACInstaller. Program will exit"
First we will try to complete installation for oracle12c. I could see one of your screenshot you got INS 50013 error to solve this we have to install oracle developer tools for visual studio. When we install this we would get .net packages it would help for our RPA. Once you install oracle developer tools for vs you would not get that popup. Please refer the below stack overflow link for installation url.
We no need to install visual studio in your machine/server. you have to install the oracle developer tools for visual studio. it is a toolset which help visual studio to connect with the Oracle database. But we need this tool set since our RPA platform would need some of the packages. my suggestion install the Oracle developer tools for visual studio with the below link and uninstall your ODAC 12c and install without that error you are facing earlier. it might resolve your issue.
this is so weird in the other office machine getting same error but once oracle client installed all working fine, but when my PIC told me to migrating the RPA flows into another office machine this issue happen again but not resolved even thought oracle client installed. sh*t
The remote Oracle client should be the same 11.2.0.4 32-bit client you install when pointing to any remote server for BSI, rather than the 12cR2 release - we rely on the library versions matching when making calls to them. The 11.2 client can still speak to a 12c server.

We've learned along the way, since this isn't the first time, and troubleshooting got us nowhere, we do it drastically, we're gonna reinstall the ODAC server in order to have the corrupt oraOLEDB11.dll reinstalled.
We currently have 2 Oracle trees, Home1 for the client in order to have sqlplus to test connections and home2 is the ODAC installation, used for the linked server. So we start with reinstalling ODAC to see if this fixes the oracle connection.
Wonderful article. This has fixed my issue after i install and uninstall oracle 32bit and oracle 64bit clients. I am glad that we don't need the 32bit Oracle client after all (as in other blog indicated). I have apply this to SQL2012 x64 with Oracle 11gr2 x64.
We are currently facing the problem with building 64 Bit SSIS pacakages(located on DB Server..which is 2003 Server Edition, 64 Bit) with connecting 32 bit oracle(loaded on the App Server..Windows 2003, 32 bit) in Business Intelligent Development Studio(Integration Services) with Sql Server 2005 64 Bit. We have installed 64 bit Oracle client and network tools and drivers on Database Server(DB Server), but we are still unable to connect from to Oracle from the BIDS for making the 64 bit SSIS packages.
Oracle setup installer and response files ready, I run the setup command with my response file on my own PC from an elevated cmd window and Oracle is installed, no problems found and oracledb installs according to my reponsefile
