This morning I installed an upgrade of Nitro Pro (v. 13.70.2.40), but unfortunately the PDF Creator seems to be missing, so I cannot print to PDF. I tried some 'solutions' that are on the internet, but whatever I try (i.e., NitroPDFSupportTools.exe) there's always a message that 'Installatie van printer driver mislukt' (Installation printer driver failed). I subsequently uninstalled the software and re-installed it, to no avail.
For what it's worth, the Nitro Pro Nitro Pro 13.70.2.40 has a much cleaner and user-friendly layout than the 13.24.1.467 I was using until this morning's upgrade. Also, the image quality after conversion is a big and welcome improvement. On the other hand, opening and especially saving a long document (50-60 pages) is extremely slow, and there has been a '500' error message while saving several times (trying again has so far always resolved the issue, but it's something I never noticed with the previous version).
I have been using Nitro Pro ever since version 9, with upgrades to each subsecutive version, without any problems ever. The conversion from Windows 10 to 11 (in December 2021, so over a year ago) has not caused any errors either. It's only after I upgraded from version 13.24.1.467 to 13.70.2.40 last week that I ran into the problem of the missing printer driver for the first time. I suspect there have been updates between these two versions, but I have never checked for updates or, for that matter, installed any. So the issue may have existed in some version after 13.24.1.467, but it's impossible to verify.
For what it's worth and for your information, the add-in in Microsoft Office doesn't work either - when trying to create a PDF document, there is an error message 'An unknown error has occurred.' But note that I don't use this option ('saving as' a PDF document is my usual way of creating a PDF from within Microsoft Office; I am now working on a project in music editing software, and do need a separate PDF printer).
No, it's the Dutch version. I checked the Country/Region setting in the Control Panel to make sure (unless there is still some other place to check), and the 'Current country system' setting (Huidige systeemlandinstelling) clearly shows 'Nederlands (Nederland)' (Dutch (Netherlands)).
I wonder if it is possible to get a previous full installation file (instead of the download assistant), prior to 13.70.2.40, which I could install and see if that makes a difference. As I mentioned earlier, the layout is a vast improvement over the version I was using before and I would hate to go back. But if it may help you solve the issue, I'd be happy to uninstall the current version, run the Nitro Cleanup Tool, and reinstall a previous version to see what happens.
Note that this is the PDFCreator version 11, but it works in my case. For what it's worth, I didn't see any difference with a previous version 13 that I was using, unless my memory is letting me down ;-).
Hij wil de installatie niet doen omdat het account al bestaat heeft hij aan. Moet ik nitro 13 eerst compleet verwijderen?
Translation:
He does not want to do the installation because the account already exists, he has it on. Do I have to completely remove nitro 13 first?
I'm afraid I must pass here as I'm not a computer specialist by any standard - I managed to get things working by some trial-and-error. For what it's worth, I assume you did manage to find the link to PDF Creator v.11? If not, I would suggest that one of the moderators put a direct link in this forum for both x86 and x64 versions until such time that the issue is resolved for the full Nitro Pro 13.
Even so, when installing the stand-alone PDF Creator, things went perfectly smooth in my case: the v.11 software was installed next to the full Nitro Pro v.13 package; there were no error messages or references to an existing account or anything.
As yet another alternative, you may want to try another brand's PDF creator until Nitro has resolved things: Until I came across Nitro's stand-alone v.11, for a few days I used CutePDF Writer which is free of charge and works in the same way. Personally, I always prefer to stay within the same company's software, but if creating PDFs or printing to PDF is important to you (and 'saving to PDF' as from within MS Office applications isn't an option), that may be the way to go for the time being.
I also tried a few other full software packages, but in terms of features and user-friendliness none come close to Nitro Pro (i.e., for my personal requirements), hence I think it's important to consider whatever temporary solution that best fits your needs.
I have the same issue, my Windows 11 Pro 22H2 is originally German (Austria). I notified Nitro Support on Dec 2, 2022.
Based on the feedback in this thread I changed all my regional settings English (United Kingdom), rebooted and reinstalled Nitro Pro 13. Unfortunately the printer was not installed ?
Dec 2, 2022 - That's a month and a half before I reported this issue. Or 3,5 months during which Nitro has not been able to resolve what should be a fairly simple issue to resolve. E.g., consider the fact that the stand-alone version 11 is working... It reflects poorly on Nitro, to be honest, and I for one will reconsider alternative software. Come on, Nitro, don't let your customers down and prove you're one of the best.

Ive been using flashprint for a long while but after getting a new printer that slicer just wansnt cutting it anymore. So i dowloaded cura. But I can not find my printer in the program. I can not find my other one either a flashforge adventurer 3. Doi have to make a custom one because I looked it up on youtube and google and found lots of profiles and tips for my printer on cura so people are using it here
Did you have any luck? I found a profile for the non pro on thingiverse, but it does not print well, for instance left extruder heats up and right extruder is used none heated. I manually edited gcode and realised there was a discrepancy between the numbers (.0 used on left not right) so this meant both extruders heated, but the print doesn't stick to the bed at all.
Looks like I'll be doing a lot of digging if no one has got it working yet!
The 4.x versions of Cura have a plugin in the marketplace for Flashforge printers. I really don't know anything about it but I followed the link for "Ronoaldo Consulting" to THIS GITHUB PAGE. There is also THIS PAGE.
When Cura was moved from the Qt5 controls and dialogs to Qt6 most of the marketplace plugins needed to reworked. That may be why it isn't available yet in the 5.x versions of Cura. It's something you can look into though.
Looks like I may be the first one here to have purchased one of these. It was $540 shipped from eBay. Ordered from USA seller in CA (one eBay described as the CTC company) and received it in about 5 days.
When it arrived, the packaging was top notch. Printer came completely assembled with the exception of the print heads which only required 2 screws to assemble. This printer uses the mightyboard (Makerbot) controller and runs on the Replicator 2 firmware. This means you need to use the ReplicatorG software to drive it as the gcode format is x3g and commands are sent in a compressed binary (faster printing, bidirectional, and has error checking) instead of plain text.
After installing python and ReplicatorG, I was up and printing within a half hour of unboxing. Before installing the printhead, I did notice that the hotends were not level with each other, so I had to adjust those. I just moved the Z axis all the way to the top, loosened the nozzles and let them both drop on the bed, then tightened them both up. Simple to do, but required taking the fans and heatsinks off.
The extruder itself is pretty nice. It is a molded plastic affair that contains the filament through the entire extruder path. The extruder gear looks extremely sharp and the pressure from the roller bearing looks tight enough to cause trouble with some materials like Ninjaflex. There are alternative extruder bodies on thingaverse for the Flashforge which will work.
My first print was parts for the very first upgrade recommended which are pillow block bearings for the Y axis transmission rollers. In the this model, there is one in the front and back, so the upgrade requires 4 pillow blocks and 4 bearings.
I was impressed with the quality right out of the box. I printed these before doing any calibrating or even leveling of the bed and they came out very good. Circles were perfect and dimensions were correct.
The hot-ends are non-standard. They are just tubes going down to the heater block. All metal. They are mounted into a large aluminum block which I'm sure will keep the filament nice and cool and prevent clogging.
The body of the printer is open and I have already experienced issues with warping while printing ABS parts. I am heading to home depot to pick up some some materials (just some rigid insulation) to make temporary sides and a door for it until I can fashion together something more permanent or buy a full kit from
criticalmods.com
After using it for a few hours last night to print more upgrade parts (filament guides) I found that it would occasionally generate a heating failure in the right extruder. I disassembled the hotend this morning to see if I could figure it out and noticed that the screw holding in the thermistor was loose and the metal bracket was oxidized. I sanded it until it was bright and shiny, applied some thermal paste, and bolted it back together tightly. Wrapped the whole thing in kapton tape as well. We shall see if this fixes the problem. I am sure the oxidation was the problem; it was pretty thick.
