I don't see any issues with the popups in the map itself, but the dark theme adds this black background that I don't like. I'm assuming this was introduced (accidentally or not) from the update because the popups did not look like this yesterday. Does anyone know of a setting that can change the background to be transparent or match the rest of the popup frame? See attached image.

I agree. The old dark mode colors matched the rest of my theme perfectly, not to mention it blended right in with DarkReader. Now with this blue tone, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Please bring back the old dark mode colors and make this new one a separate theme.

Hey all, I have been trying to get the unraid dark theme to work, like I have seen in several videos, but for me the top bar seems to turn white?
I also liked the colorscheme of the gray version, but I would prefer keeping the original top bar instead of having it set to the side.

I am just getting used to unraid and finally being able to find some things, it's kind of annoying having lost track of everything again already

I can only find dark and light theme on anki desktop.
Ankidroid has four themes Light, Plain, Dark and Black. I use Black theme on Amoled screen.
When I view cards on desktop it does not feel consistent.
Please include Black theme or guide me to setting if it already has.

I was wondering if anyone had an idea if Microsoft is planning to release this same thing for Excel too?

Right now Excel when using the dark theme makes everything dark except the cells. Which kind of makes no sense to me. This is where your eyes are most of the time. It needs to be a proper fully dark theme.

@abhishekolympics I have previously used the same method of inserting a black background and changing the text to white, and it works very well. I think there is also a setting where the grid line colour can be changed as well. The problem is that, in a work environment, most people continue to use the normal spreadsheet view. Having a button, as in MS Word, to change to a black background with light coloured text, would be ideal.

Im currently browsing native apple apps like reminders, notes, find my and also others like notion, todoist, goodtask and, well, others and all of them has more grayish background than current dark theme.
Also im using darcula themes in intellij idea and android studio which are also grayish like.

The default theme in Lubuntu has light themes (Bright and White), though I prefer a dark theme (With greyish and blackish background, and white text) as that kind of theme is good for my eyes (strains less!!).

To access the graphical user interface, click on the Menu button > Preferences > LXQt settings > Openbox settings > Theme. Move your mouse pointer to the pane on the right hand side and scroll up/down to select the theme of your choice. The appearance of the top bar dynamically changes to reflect the theme. I've chosen Lubuntu Arc. Clicking Close will enforce the selected theme.

If you want to take a personalised theme for Confluence, that's up to you and your browser. Confluence is like sites such as, um, google, bbc, microsoft etc - they present a consistent presentation layer and if you want to do it differently, you mostly get browser plugins to do it. Stylus and Stylish have personalised browser themes for most Atlassian stuff, Cloud and Server, and the browser marketplaces are well worth a look

(Note - I'm not saying dark themes are bad, I tend to prefer them for a lot of stuff, but hate them for large amounts of reading - books, letters, mail, etc - really always should be light. For me. My terminals and IDEs tend towards dark, Jira I don't bother to try because I swap between so many of them, and Confluence should be dark writing on a light background to make it easier for me to read)

However, when I load my javascript files, it's impossible to see the text in the file as it's dark black on lighter black (see image). This happens only for the JS files as all of the CSS and HTML files in the project inherit the dark theme very nicely.

Here are some things to check to determine is this is the problem.
Go to Eclipse Preferences -> General -> Editors -> File Associations and check the default editor for Eclipse. If JVET is installed, VJET will be the default editor. If you try to switch the javascript editor to be default, it won't let you do that option. The javascript editor should be taking in the appropriate color schemes by whatever theme you have installed. I assume VJET has a fixed color schemes.

I like working with dark theme so I looked for settings and changed my CCS editor to dark theme as well. Everything is working well, except for object selection and coloring, the setting for which I could not find. Essentially, what happens is when I hover over and click on some object, that object and all its occurrences get highlighted with whitish gray background - which makes the text difficult read. I went over advanced coloring settings in preferences and looked for all options, including coloring and highlighting. But I didn't have any luck finding the setting to change color scheme for highlighting the selected text and all its occurrences. I have attached a snippet to show the issue.

Bear in mind that HeidiSQL is most likely a native app, whereas themeable apps are mostly webtech-based apps, or applications with a diabolical amount of development capacity behind them. In a native app, it's surpisingly difficult to apply custom theming.

ORLY? We've managed to write themeable apps in nineties with Delphi, C-builder, and VC - but now it's "surpisingly difficult"? C'mon. It's just color schemes, we don't need application to became a tropical parrot.

Theming is more than just a few colours. It also involved being able to install themes and enabling users to create their own. All that is dead-easy in webtech-based applications, but a lot more involved in native applications.

It's not THAT hard in native apps either. We really don't need some dedicated theme store and have 1000 different themes, but in 2018 there should be at least a basic support for a light/dark UI. Many people have problems with eyes and it really helps to have the option.

To fix websites in general you'll need the Stylish extension for Waterfox; the only browser left on the planet that can truly be customized. Keep in mind that some websites do not style certain elements (commonly form fields) so they may inherit the dark color theme; you could override this with Stylish however though it's difficult in such cases because it's either per-website or always-on/off-until-you-toggle-it which makes it annoying when you're researching a topic on unfamiliar websites that you don't frequent.

It sometimes takes a lot of time though eventually I conquer problems and I try to make sure it's reasonably easy to reproduce the steps to solve problems so other people can skip the hassle and get straight to being productive. I hope this helps out though in the end, yes, HeidiSQL should natively support themes because it's such a PITA to get things working natively. At least HeidiSQL does support some color customization which generally works well with this solution.

I prefer the dark color themes for two reasons. First it's more aesthetic though secondly it's also for health reasons: too much blue light can negatively effect a person's circadian rhythm and lead to insomnia. There is a program that allows you to both automatically and manually adjust blue light: F.lux. Supposed (maybe) historical fun (maybe) fact: apparently humans evolved the ability to actual see the blue part of the light spectrum only a few hundred years ago.

For those who like dark themes: there is some progress on that topic, and some screenshots, in issue report 8. I am on the way to migrate to Delphi 10.2, which directly supports such themes (besides other new things)

For those coming late to the discussion I'm using "Windows 10 Dark" theme (on Windows 7 x64) on HeidiSQL 10.1.0.5464. It's as dark as a theme is going to get and has good contrasting (text) colors. My tutorial above is still valid for most Windows GUI / applications though I highly prefer per-application theme support. Thank you Ansgar!

Hey there! If you want to get the dark material theme. All you need to do is download HeidiSQL.exe version 10.2.0.5599 and when you download that exe then install, in the process of installation you got exactly the same window which I share. After click on the dark material theme and install.

for the 2-3 years that i'm using this app i just realized that the settings default theme on my phone it's not like in the photo on the playstore which i think was the option that they are using for the screenshot.

No idea why your background colour is changing with different Settings pages. On mine, all of the setting screens are consistently the same colour scheme (depending on the mode enabled). Note that the dark theme is not 100% pure black anyway (RGB 0,0,0) but it is a subtle very dark grey with a medium tone blue highlight colour. Is there a screen brightness or colour optimisation option on your device that might be making the dark grey (and blue) look lighter?

Yeah, I have noticed some strange acting of the settings menu as well, the accent color completely hides the text in the settings menu after bixby routines switch to light theme, so I have to play with it until it (somehow) fixes itself, it's just a quick fix though and it won't stay that way. In dark theme there's no issues. I did not care about that too much.
