tonight's meeting

Hello fellow queerios! Lookin good, lookin good ! ; ) 

I'm not feeling very well today and I work at the ass-crack-of-dawn tomorrow, so I am not going to make it to the meeting. I have updates from myself and Jackie (who had IT problems imputing information into the spread sheet):

From Jackie:

-Waiting to hear back from Union Pub and Jeffery's Pub

-Sit Down Café is not interested in hosting an event

From Cassie-

-Dustbowl may not be a good option. I'm gonna gather the details but it may not be enough space or right vibe

-My friend suggested we look into Plaines Project- it's in Pilsen, it's smaller but often hosts performance artist and serves as a gallery space too: http://plainesproject.wordpress.com/about/

-Should I look into this or does someone else know it or have a contact?

-This same friend suggested I look into a venue that just recently opened. She couldn't think of the name of it at the time, but is going to text me later this evening. Her friend is the person who books the events and said since they are new they need things to fill up their calendar. She said it's a large venue that has a theater and stage. The stage has church pew type seating. I don't know the other specs until I get the venue name and her friend's contact information. It's located off the Western Blue line stop. Thoughts?

I have not sent out a doodle poll for the Workshop Team meeting yet because I wasn't sure exactly what we would need to discuss yet. I had been focusing on logistics stuff, but maybe it's time I do that? Thoughts? 

And, if there are tasks that need to be taken up at the end of this meeting- let me know.
