QCT January Meetings Update

Hello everyone!

There was not a perfect match for the Logistics/Content teams meeting to create the festival schedule, so I chose the time where the most folks could make it. I am sorry to those that cannot. If you are able to flex your schedules that would be great, if not we will update at the next group meeting. 

The next Logistics/Content teams meeting to create the festival schedule will be Sunday, January 13th from 7-8:30pm at New Wave Coffee in Logan Square. From what I could tell this would be the most central location to where folks live. New Wave Coffee is located at 2557 North Milwaukee Avenue  Chicago, IL 60647. 

The next all teams/team leads meeting will be Wednesday, January 23rd from 6:30-8:30pm at Jackie Boyd's house, located at 5816 S. Indiana ave Unit 2. Bring a snack to share if possible! Also, if folks need a ride from the northside I will be happy to accomodate, just let me know!!

If anyone has any deep conflicts or concerns, please let me know!!

If any queerios from near me (west side/Chicago and Damen) need a ride to the all teams meeting at Jackie's, I'll be borrowing my roomie's car, room for 4 more.

Kokumo,

Of course we will keep you in the loop! Today's meeting is a "team" meeting, specifically the planning/logitics team. I can send you the notes after, and can highlight anything I think you might be interested in. However, if I remember correctly you are more interested in the artist organizing part of the festival, thus there may not be anything discussed today that you will find partially relevant. However, if I am wrong and you are also interested in the organizing parts of the festival, let me know. I will send you the meeting notes regardless. But, I also don't want to send you emails about things that aren't specific to your interest. 

The meeting on the 23 Jan. is when all teams will meet to update each other and make any major group decisions. At least this is my understanding of how the various meetings are working. We organized it this way to allow people to not have to go to every meeting and thus less pressure on individuals and more space, energy to work on what's at each individual's capacity. If I were you I would try to attend the "Artist Team Meeting" (no idea when this is), and you can input your fabulousness there, and won't need to go to the major meeting or any other smaller team meetings (unless you desire to do so). 

But, yes, we'll be in touch with you as you will be a part of making this festival absolutely fabulous and amazing!
