Hey guys
I was thinking again about kits etc and I think if we are going to
have a decent kit we need a good name and or a good logo. What do you
think? Reckon Julia could steal us a good one from america if we can't
think of our own?

From what I remember Ben was working on this and had asked his graphic designer friend to draw up some ideas??? Unfortunately I think they are Panda related. There's a lot of "panda banter" about these days, a lot coming from my way but I don't think thats it a good option for a name. 

One of things we have to contend with is the stupid decision taken by some complete retard 30/40 years ago to call our sport "Ultimate Frisbee". If we call ourselves Queens Pandas Ultimate Frisbee Club that will not help us be taken seriously and not help our relations with Queens. We want them to give us pitches for hosting tournaments, better indoor training slot and lots of money (among other things).

So think of sensible ones. Here's some names I can remember were thought oof. They're probably not good enough but are in the spirit of whats required and should help us think along the right lines...

Qubana - a play on the QUB acronym

Pawrshawr - a play on our accent (Power Shower)

Titanics - something you can associate with Belfast (but not fighting)

The Bee works 'cos it's how the letter B is said, but the B could equally be Bears, Buffalos, Beardy-Men or whatever takes your fancy.

nope its not for the hoodies, we already have them, in fact I'm
wearing mine right now. I quite liked Qubana. but you can't really get
a good logo unless you go for something like Havana Qubana and do it
Che Guevara style.
