Indoor Intervarsities
Hey guys, just getting the details of the next tournament up nice and quick so you can keep/get it free if you plan on coming. Indoor Intervarsities are in Cork this year, it’s a one day tournament on the 20th Nov. We will be driving down late afternoon Friday and getting back on Saturday night. Probably cost £20 or something close.
I've entered one team into this, with the option of a 2nds team - so plenty of spots available. I’ll gauge interest at training and we’ll go from there!
I’ll get a Whacking Day report written tomorrow for your reading pleasure... probably
Keep 'er lit!

The excursion to Cork was a great first tournament for Queen's 2. It was the first time QUB was able to field two full squads, with the seconds being primarily manned by beginners. We had a blow to our confidence after bombing our first game, but pulled it back to win 3/5 games.
Two epic battles formed the backbone of our tournament, the most remarkable of which was the final of the Paper Plate which went two points beyond the hooter. We finished up a point ahead to snag the...paperware?
Yarr!
I'll be nice and not mention that we ended up only two places behind QUB1... =P
