Twists are
the detoxing poses of yoga, as they squeeze out the old blood (along with any
toxins in the blood) and allow new blood to flood in. Twists are also wonderful
for relieving back tension and neutralizing the spine, as well as making backbending more accessible.
Have fun, while squeezing your insides!

Anna-Marie is back to class next week! Welcome home! We are
implementing a small raise in our fees for the new year of
approximately a $1 a class. This will allow us to continue to run our
very full schedule and maintain our big beautiful studio! We are so
happy to have all of you studying with us, and for your support in what
we do! Please see the fees page on the website or check it out when you
come to class.A
reminder that no one will ever be turned away from the studio for lack
of funds. If you find yourself in financially lean times and need a
break, please approach Meaghan to make arrangements! We, the teachers, are working together to inspire
and support each other in our teaching in order to bring you the
highest quality of instruction in your classes. I know many of you
have told me there always seems to be a theme running through the
classes, and we are excited about exploring the possibilities of making
this more explicit, while maintaining the creativity and personal touch
of each teacher. For the month of January we are busy collaborating for
the Jan 24th open house, and very excited to see you there!Yours,
Meaghan and the QSY Teachers!
