Queen Street Yoga Newsletter
Merry December! Hope this newsletter finds you warm, cozy and not too busy with all that the holidays can bring!
First things first. We are both happy and sad to announce that our dear friend, teacher and office manager extraordinaire, Lindsay Gamester, has been accepted to York University for January and will be leaving for Toronto at the end of the month. Her enthusiasm, realness and big heart has had a huge effect on both this yoga community and on downtown Kitchener. We will not be able to know how much she is missed until she is gone. Her last class will be the noon hour express/rest & restore on December 31st, and she will be making guest appearances throughout the year so stay tuned! Good luck Lindsay!
The new January schedule is online: http://queenstreetyoga.com/schedule_new.html Highlights: Meaghan will return to Tuesday nights at 7:30pm for the Level 2 class. She has missed it and is excited to see you then! Kunga is looking forward to sharing his love of restorative yoga with you on Wednesday nights.

Mind in the Balance by Alan B. Wallace (Mar)
2) The Joy of Singing with Jane Lewis
I am really looking forward to this class, and look forward to singing with those of you who want to sing! Singing can lift your spirits, reduce stress, build confidence, and strengthen your immune system. It's good medicine, and good fun. For six weeks we will meet and join our voices in sound and song. Each night, a vocal tip or new exercise will be introduced. Over the course of the workshop, we'll work on a repertoire of songs, learning melodies and harmony parts. Most importantly, we'll share in the heart-warming experience of singing together. No experience necessary.
Thursday Jan 20th to February 24th (6 weeks) 6-7:30pm. Cost: $132.75 plus HST ($150); Early Bird - $125 (register and pay by Jan 13th)
