Maastricht Interview for Hearing Voices Online Training

Thursday & Friday, November 12 and 13, 9am to 4pm Eastern time

AND Thursday & Friday, November 19 and 20, 9am to 1pm Eastern time

Online with Peter Bullimore, Kate Crawford & Shaun Hunt

Training for attendees from the UK will be 2pm-9pm on the first two days and 2pm -7pm on the third and fourth days ATTENDANCE AT ALL FOUR ON-LINE SESSIONS IS REQUIRED.

The Maastricht Interview is a semi-structured questionnaire originally developed by Science journalist, Sandra Escher, Psychiatrist Marius Romme and Voice Hearer Patsy Hage.

It was developed as a way to explore the voice hearing experience in depth and provide tools needed to build trust, develop an understanding and make sense of hearing voices

At this training, you will:* Learn how to conduct the interview* Undertake 2 interviews with voice hearers*

Write reports and develop constructs* Develop a shared understanding of voices and ways to support people

This training is especially appropriate for mental health providers of all kinds, but peer supporters, family members, and others are welcome and have reported positive learning experiences, as well!!
