1. Shabbat Dinner this Friday at 8pm!
You and your friends are invited to the very LAST Hillel Shabbat
Dinner of the year THIS Friday April 1st at 8:00pm!
Come prepared for a warm cooked meal, filled with meatballs, veggies, rice, chicken, kugel and more - made and served to you by your friends at Hillel!
This dinner is free for all members and only $10 for nonmembers.
See you next Friday night at the Hillel House!!
2. IOC film screening TODAY Monday March 28th at 7:00pm
TODAY, March 28th at 7pm in Sterling C, come see the critically
acclaimed and award winning film, "Precious Life"! The movie has been
a hit across the globe and was an official selection in the Toronto
International Film Festival and the Telluride Film Festival among others!
Summary: "With the help of a prominent Israeli journalist, Precious Life chronicles the struggle of an Israeli pediatrician and a Palestinian mother to get treatment for her baby, who suffers from an incurable genetic disease. Each must face their most profound biases as they inch towards a possible friendship in an impossible
reality."
This special screening is presented by Queen's Israel on Campus.

4. Passover Seders with Beth Israel Congregation and Chabad
Beth Israel welcomes students to participate in their seder,
on April 18. Mincha and Ma'ariv services will start at 7:30pm , followed by the
Passover Seder! The tentative cost per person will be $25.00.
*** If you wish to participate, PLEASE register ahead of time so the Shul can prepare for a set number of students. Contact Beth Israel at beth...@kingston.net
Chabad Student Centre of Kingston will also be hosting Seders both nights. Stay tuned for more information to come!
5. Talmud Torah: Hebrew School Teachers Needed!!
Beth Israel Congregation is looking for Queen's Students with a
good knowledge of Hebrew and Judaism and a love of teaching and working with
children to teach at the Beth Israel Hebrew School for 2011/2012 year. Classes areWednesdays 4pm-6pm and Sunday 9:30am-12:30pm.
