1. ROSEN LECTURE: Wednesday Oct. 26th @ Dunning AUD
Join us for the annual Rosen Lecture series featuring Muhammad Abu Samra and Dr. Howard Tzvi Adelman! This year's topic will be "Torah and the Qur'an in Modern Islamic and Jewish Thought: Tradition and Criticism." It will take place on Wednesday October 26th in Dunning Auditorium at 6:00 and refreshments will be served at 5:45.

2. REMEMBER THE CHILDREN OF THE HOLOCAUST - DAFFODIL PLANTING: Oct. 27th @ Hillel house
Come join Queen's Hillel on Thursday October 27th at 4pm at the Hillel House as we plant daffodils in memory of the children of the Holocaust. This is an extension of Am Yisrael Chai's project to plant 1.5 million daffodils worldwide in memory of the 1.5 million children who perished.
The daffodils are expected to bloom around the time of Yom HaShoah.

3. WEBSITE DESIGNER NEEDED
Queen's Hillel needs a new website! If you or anyone you know has the skills to make a website, please contact queens...@queenshillel.com for details! Compensation will be negotiated.
4. BEWIC SPORTS DAYS
Interested in playing on Hillel's BEWIC team this year? (I know you all are!)
BEWIC is a two-day long event where Queen's teams compete in 4 co-ed sports (volleyball, rugby-basketball, floor hockey and innertube water polo) taking place on place on January 20th to 21st 2012 and Hillel is once again making a team! The participation fee is $20, which gets you a wristband to participate in each event, a BEWIC T-shirt, AND FREE ALL YOU CAN EAT SUBWAY SANDWICHES at the final banquet. If you are interested, please contact Jonathan Kwinta at jkw...@gmail.com with your name and student number. The deadline for putting in a team is NOVEMBER 1ST, so make sure you sign up fast!
