1. HOOKA IN THE SUKKAH: Thursday Oct. 13th @ Hillel House
On Thursday October 13th, we will be having a HOOKA IN THE SUKKAH party! Refreshments will be served in none other than our very own sukkah! What better way to celebrate Sukkot? More details to follow.

2. SHABBAT DINNER: Friday Oct. 14th @ BETH ISRAEL
Are you craving a home-cooked Shabbat meal? Love eating on tables and chairs? Do you like elbow-room where you're eating your meal?
Queen's Hillel is throwing a Shabbat dinner at the Shul in Kingston (right next door to the Hillel House) with members of the community! Come, enjoy some delicious meatballs, chicken and your favourite brownies all in a classy, shul environment.
This dinner is FREE for members and $10 for nonmembers. Memberships can be purchased for $35 (for the year) or $20 (for the semester). Memberships get you 8 FREE shabbat dinners and discounts to most other events.
IMPORTANT: EVERYONE MUST COME TO THE HILLEL HOUSE BEFORE GOING TO THE SHUL TO GET A WRISTBAND FOR THE DINNER. If you don't feel comfortable paying on Shabbat, please email alexand...@gmail.com and we can arrange a time to pay beforehand.

3. HILLEL DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT: Sunday Oct. 23rd @ the ARC
Queen's Hillel will be having a dodgeball tournament! It will take place Sunday October 23rd from 12-3 at the upstairs gym in the ARC. It's FREE! All those who want to get involved and have some fun must sign up so we can tell you what colour you are on.You may request people on your team. This is not an opportunity you want to miss! 4. ROSEN LECTURE: Wednesday Oct. 26th @ Dunning AUD
Join us for the annual Rosen Lecture series featuring Muhammad Abu Samra and Dr. Howard Tzvi Adelman! This year's topic will be "Torah and the Qur'an in Modern Islamic and Jewish Thought: Tradition and Criticism." It will take place on Wednesday October 26th in Dunning Auditorium at 6:00 and refreshments will be served at 5:45.
