1. QUEEN'S IN THE PARK (Sept. 7^th) and SIDEWALK SALE (September 9^th)

This year, Queen's Hillel will be having booths at theOrientation events, Queen's in the Park (September 7^th), where youwill see us dancing the horah, and at the Sidewalk Sale (Sept. 9^th).We will be selling memberships at both events.

 

2. FROSH BAGEL BRUNCH: Sept. 11^th @Hillel House

HEY FROSH! Miss Sunday brunch already? Looking for somebagel and schmear just like you have at home? Make sure you come out to thisFROSH ONLY event at the Hillel House, Sunday September 11^th at 12pm,where you can mingle with other Jewish frosh and enjoy some cream cheese andlox!

3. OPENING BBQ: Sept. 12^th @Hillel House

What better way to start of the school year than seeing someold Hillel friends and even making some new ones? Come out to Hillel's FREEopening BBQ for food and refreshments at 6:30pm!

 

4. TZEDEK MEETING INITIATIVE: Sept. 14^th@ TBA

On Wednesday September 14^th, come learn aboutHillel's new program where members join together in Tzedek initiatives at 7pm,meeting place TBA.

 

5. BIRTHRIGHT REGISTRATION: Opens Sept.14^th

WANT TO GO TO ISRAEL FOR FREE??? Birthright registrationopens Friday September 14th at 11am!!! (Or Thursday September 13th for thosewho have registered in the past). This is an amazing opportunity everyoneshould experience if they have the chance!

 

6. CJPAC INFO SESSION: Sept. 18^th@ Hillel House

Interested in politics? Want to get involved in the upcomingprovincial election? CJPAC will be hosting a session on September 18^th forstudents interested in getting involved in the upcoming provincial election. Itwill take place at 1pm at the Hillel House, and refreshments will be served.

 

7. FIRST SHABBAT DINNER OF THE YEAR: Sept. 23^rd @ Hillel House

Been waiting all summer for those mouthwatering meatballsand breathtakingly delicious brownies? LOOK NO FURTHER! Our first Shabbatdinner of the year will be taking place at the Hillel House on Friday September23^rd at 8pm. Dinners are FREE for members, and only $10 for non-members!

8. FROSH HOUSECRAWL: Sept. 24^th@ Outside Stauffer

Another FROSH ONLY event, the long awaited, always talkedabout, FROSH HOUSECRAWL! A wild and crazy night, unforgettable to all. We willbe meeting Saturday September 24^th at 8:30pm outside Stauffer. Moredetails to come.

 

9. FROSH ELECTIONS: Sept. 26^th 

On Monday September 26^th at 7pm (location TBA),make sure to come vote for your Hillel Frosh Reps! This is a frosh only event,so if you would like a say on who represents you this year, this is an eventyou don't want to miss.

 

10. ROSH HASHANAH DINNER: Sept. 29^th@ Hillel House

This year, as Rosh Hashannah falls on Thursday and Friday,everyone is welcome to come to the Hillel House after Shul for the second nighton Thursday September 29^th. What better way to celebrate the JewishNew Year away from home than with Hillel?!
