[Queen's Hillel]

Hello Everyone!

We hope that exam studying is going well and want to wish you good luck with your exams!

Here are a few things coming up this week!

1. PASSOVER SEDERS with Beth Israel congregation or Chabad!

1. PASSOVER SEDERS with Beth Israel congregation or Chabad!

Beth Israel welcomes students  to participate in their Seder, on April 18.
Mincha and Ma'ariv services will start at 7:30pm , followed by the Passover Seder!  The cost per person will be only $25.00.
*** If you are wishing to participate, PLEASE register ahead of time so the Shul can prepare for a set number of students.

Chabad Student Centre of Kingston will also be hosting Seders both nights.
Both will be held on Monday, April 18, 7:30pm - 11:00pm at the Chabad Student Centre, located at 08 Earl St. (corner of Earl and Bagot)

2. Passover Snack! Thursday April 21, 5:30 - 7:00

This Thursday Hillel will be offering you some Kosher-for-Pesach snacks. Look out for a Facebook event for confirmed location.
Stop by anytime between 5:30-7 for a study break, a shmooze with your Hillel friends, and some Matzah and your other unleavened favourites!

2. IOC exec application - due TODAY!

Just a reminder that if you wish to apply for the 2011-2012 Israel on Campus executive board or general board, you need to apply TODAY (April 18th).

The incoming president Alex Rotman will be involved in the decision-making process.

4. Talmud Torah Hebrew School Teachers Needed!

Beth Israel Congregation is looking for Queen's Students with a good knowledge of Hebrew and Judaism and a love of teaching and working with children to teach at the Beth Israel Hebrew School for 2011/2012 year.  Classes are Wednesdays 4pm-6pm and Sunday 9:30am-12:30pm.  Please send your resume and/or any questions to cbo...@cogeco.ca.
