A classy evening of eating, drinking and inter faculty mingling!
Join us for a night that you won't forget. Ever feel stuck in your own faculty? Ever feel like inter mingling? Now is your chance! An opportunity to meet other Jewish grads in other faculties you have never met. Come out to meet some new people, have a few drinks, and perhaps gain a new friend.

Cost: $10 ticket in advance ($12 at door) which includes glass of sparkling wine and a variety of delicious appetizers

3- HILLEL'S SHABBAT DINNER - CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOLE EDITION - Fri. Feb. 10, 7pm @ Hillel House
Hillel's Tzedek Committee presents our first ever CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE 'SOLE' shabbat dinner!
Please bring gently used SOCKS or WARM CLOTHES that you no longer want to the Hillel house this Friday night at 7PM. All clothing will be donated to a local shelter to help keep others warm this winter. If you do not want to carry on Shabbat, please feel free to drop anything off at the Hillel House during the day on Friday.
This week's Shabbat Dinner will feature all of your favourite dishes (chicken, potatoes, veggies, brownies! etc.) as well as something extra..."just- as-good-as-your-bubbie's" homemade CHICKEN SOUP!
Dinners are FREE for members, and only $10 for non-members! Memberships can be purchased at the event for $20 for the semester which include 4 FREE Shabbat Dinners as well as discounted entrance to other Hillel events.
If you don't feel comfortable paying on Shabbat just email Alex Lulka at alexand...@gmail.com and we can arrange a time to pay before hand

5- KJC'S THEATRE NIGHT - A JEWISH COMEDY - Tues. Feb. 14 7:30pm @ Baby Grand Theatre (218 Princess Street)
KJC is pleased to present the premiere production of Kingston playwright John Lazarus' newest play The Grandkid starring Sam Malkin and Sophia Fabiili. Directed by Brett Christopher, the play is a sweet comedy about a 19-year old girl who moves in with her Zadie when she decides to attend the same university where he teaches. It's an 'odd couple' for the new millennium and deals humourously with the generation gap and their relationship to Judaism. KJC is hosting the performance on February 14 at the Baby Grand and providing a reception at intermission. Please support this fundraising initiative by attending this entertaining evening among friends.
Tickets: $30 per person (includes refreshments). No reserved seating.

Beth Israel Congregation is looking for Queen's Students with a good knowledge of Hebrew and Judaism and a love of teaching and working with children, to teach at the Beth Israel Hebrew School for the 2012/2013 school year.
