8. CJPAC FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION
CJPAC is a unique national, grassroots, independent organization whose mandate is to activate the Jewish community in the political process in order to advance relationships with members of the Canadian political community and foster Jewish and pro-Israel political leadership. CJPAC mobilizes the grassroots across the country, builds relationships with elected officials - of all political parties - and works for Jewish community interests, on a multi-partisan basis, during and between elections.
Each year CJPAC (the Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee) runs a
Fellowship program for politically interested and active students on campus.
This opportunity allows politically engaged and active students to further their role in Canadian politics. CJPAC fellows have unique opportunities to meet with
Members of Parliament, senior political strategists, communication experts and some of Canada's most engaged activists during a conference in Ottawa as well as conference calls throughout the year. Fellows are trained to be effective political campaigners and network with people from various parts of the political world. These skills are applicable to on-campus activities as well as in their post-graduate lives.
Fellowship applications have been available as of August 15, 2011 for the 2011/
2012 academic year and we ask that you help us in making the opportunity widely available for interested students to apply. The deadline for applying is September 21, 2011.
