Hi

I had sent an email to the CRM team for canceling. They sent me a sample template for a cancellation letter stating that I would have tom pay around 28,000Rs as Cancellation fee

I haven't asked them how much time they will take to cancel or how will they refund the money. I don;t live in India and am very concerned about this builder

I had booked the flat in 2013 and I don;t see any signs of approvals till date

if anyone has successfully canceled with out paying any cancellation fees or paid cancellation fees and got the amount refunded then please let me know also. I don;t know how much time I will have to spend chasing them to get my own money back which they have been sitting on for past 1.5 years and paying me  NO interest

I saw in one of the groups people cancelling their bookings and getting their money refunded without any delay, so I don't think you will face any problems in getting the same done.  I was also told that the cancellation fee would be approximately 25k when I did my booking, so I guess  there won't be any change in their stand now.  

However my suggestion for people who want to cancel their bookings is to be patient for some more time. I had been to the site 10 days ago and I was very happy with the quality of construction of the towers whose construction is in progress. For that matter even QG's foundation has been completed and basement work already started. Moreover for people who made their bookings in 2013 they saw a good appreciation in it's value. So be patient till at least mid April and then decide, my 2 cents...
