Clarification on 1% TDS Payment

Hi,

I wanted clarification on 1% TDS payment obligation when we send any payment to HoH

  Should we have have paid 1% TDS on the booking amount paid and any subsequent payments  made to HoH Queensgate  till date.

Please let me know your know what you folks are doing

The 1% TDS is applicable on bookkng amount as well as any subsequent payments to be done to the builder.

One more important thing, we are paying TDS on behalf of builder hence its not a extra amount. The TDS should be part of total amount for example if you have to pay 4,00,000 to builder, then you need to pay 4000 (1% of 4,00,000) as TDS and remaining 3,96,000 (i.e. 4,00,000 - 4000) to the builder.
