Has anyone cancel their booking with Hiranandani?

I'm thinking of cancelling my Queensgate booking.

When I contacted Hiranandani CRM relationship manager, I didn't get any clear response around the process.

Is there anyone on group who could help?

Hi Nivi, A cancellation charge will be levied and rest will be refunded. Try negotiating on the charges.

Hi Fatima,

Your mail came just a day too late. Was there yesterday, had a look at QG from every side and also went to a first floor apartment of LV . Capturing the progress pics for this group just didn't cross my mind, will surely click some the next time i am there.

Construction work is in progress in full swing. 3 levels have come up and should expect one floor every 25-30 days going forward.

Hi

Yes that's true. I tried cancelling my unit 1 year back and was told the same. It's in fine print in the agreement signed with the booking amount.

The only reason we didn't cancel was because of this clause. Considering there hasn't been much progress and no price appreciation what are the odds of the unit being resold or the developer putting in some effort towards the same.

I don't think they have their approvals from BBMP in place yet. That's also why the construction is only at basement stage and no superstructure is being built. The CRM maintains though that they await approval from SBI for home loan purposes, which the reason they haven't launched.

A friend of mine cancelled the booking in Feb-15, he did not have to pay any cancellation charges, they told him they will refund only after the flat is resold. They have not yet paid him back. They have already resold the flat since i checked for availability on the same floor & HoH said nothing is available. Now they are not picking up his calls nor replying on his emails.

That is real bad cust experience. Few days back got a call from HoH Mumbai and they told they got lot of CRM Blore complaint. Told it is correct and address it ASAP.

I don't think it would be so simple to get the money back. Also, if we cancel the unit, the management may decide to sell it post project launch when prices are much higher and return us only the booking amount. 

It becomes more frustrating when I see apartments that were in prelaunch in 2013 are now almost 4-5 floors high. Our money is just sitting there earning 0% interest.
