Cleves TT Results 7/14

It was a hot one last night.  Rob Westendorf insisted that his Garmin read 114° out on the course.  Other riders said he was crazy, claiming that it had to be “much hotter than that!”.  Tom Lewnard claimed that the heat melted his tire and caused him to flat!?  Nonetheless, we had some fast times.

Three riders turned in Personal Best times including Greg Smith, Scott Billman, and Zoe Minner.  The following riders also turned in performances that now place them in the ALL TIME TOP 10 COURSE RECORDS for their age category!

      Zoe Minner (new Course Record for an 11 year old female rider; to be confirmed)
      Oliver Galloway (new Course Record for an 11 year old male rider; to be confirmed) 

In addition...

      Maria Kretchik is now ranked #6 in her Age Category

      Scott Billman is now #7

      Andy Jones is now #8 (Andy actually rode last week and we missed acknowledging him)

It was QCW Team Night last night.  Many thanks to all the QCW racers who came out to support their team members!  It must also have been Ladies Night Out last night as we hosted no less than ten women, the largest turnout of women on a single night in years!  Let’s make this a trend!
