Having been actively involved in bicycling, and various volunteer organizations for over 40 years, we are now involved with 3Wheel Therapy and are launching a new chapter in the Dayton area. Using an adaptive tricycle, 3Wheel Therapy provides a free therapeutic riding experience to those who cannot ride a traditional bicycle. A volunteer peddler (called Pilots) provide the leg work for a unique bicycle ride at local parks or at a partner facility like nursing homes, day programs, schools or senior centers. Volunteer bicyclists accompany the Pilot for rider safety. The team rides along the trail with conversation, appreciation of the natural environment, smiles and laughs. To continue this work, we are seeking both donations and volunteers. Financial contributions help us cover essential costs such as [materials, programs, supplies, etc.], while volunteers provide the time, skills, and energy that truly bring our mission to life.
