2026 Cleves Time Trial Series

It’s less than six weeks away!

Queen City Wheels is proud to announce the start of the 53rd consecutive season of the Cleves Time Trial Series, a challenge which has long ago secured itself as an integral part of competitive cycling in the greater Cincinnati area.  Participants have used this time trial over the years to measure their level of fitness and track their improvement over time.  Of course, if you know any other cyclists who might be interested, now is the time to reach out to them with the details.  We are still awarding our extremely cool Cleves Tee Shirt for first time participants! 

As you know, a current QCW membership is all you need to participate in this event which takes place every Tuesday evening from May through September.  There is no need to pre-register.  Simply sign in with an official at the start line any time after 6:30 PM.  The start order will be announced at 6:55 with riders going off every 30 seconds beginning promptly at 7:00 PM.  As a reminder, this event takes place rain or shine.  Only lightning in the immediate area could cause a delay of the start time.

We are also excited to announce some special additions to the 2026 season series which will include an “Out & Back” version (double the fun!) as well as a “Reverse Course" edition.  Specific dates have yet to be finalized so please stay tuned for further details.

Mark your calendar now for Tuesday, May 5, our first event of 2026.  And please remember to renew your QCW membership online as we are unable to otherwise allow participation due to personal liability insurance issues.

P.S.  Thanks in advance to Ms. Ginny Lenahan who has very graciously offered to officiate again in 2026.  We could also use volunteers at the start/finish line on specific nights so, if interested, please let us know.

A week or two after the series ends there is a FREE banquet for all participants with individual and category awards, beer, dinner, commutative QCW pint glasses, a slide show... And so much more!
