Cleves TT Results 9/16

A total of 18 riders enjoyed somewhat cooler temperatures and low humidity last evening.  The winds out of the northeast were offset by a fairly high air density altitude.  Of course, none of this should really matter if you pedal REALLY hard!  And everyone did last night, especially Tom Niehaus, David Whissel, and Nancy Lichtensteiger, all of whom turned in new Personal Best times.  Congratulations!

No less than three riders made the trip from northern Indiana to compete at Cleves, including Francis Manfred, Nancy Lichtensteiger, and Marcus Naegeli.  You might be interested to know that Francis served as Race Director for the Kokomo, IN Time Trial Series for many years.  All in the cycling community appreciate your efforts!

IMPORTANT:  In the interest of rider safety (and everyone finishing before sunset), we have decided to move up the start time by one half hour for the final two weeks of the series (9/23 and 9/30).  We will be available at the start line for check in at 6:00 PM, with the first rider going off at 6:30.  Please plan to check in by 6:15.
