Vital Ault Park Volunteer Needed

The viability of the Ault Park race series for this year is currently hinging on finding a new volunteer for course set-up and tear-down. This is a vital role that I need to fill before committing QCW funds to Cincinnati Parks and USAC permits.

It involves setting up the road barricades and traffic cones at 5:30 and taking them back down at 9:00. You will need to be able to transport and store the materials for the five weeks of the event. Generally, a single person takes care of this the entire series although since 2022 Richard Dammel and Russell Clarke did partner together and work it as a team.

If you’re racing the event you’ll be rewarded with free entry. Or you can designate a teammate to receive that perk. Currently for each QCW event two volunteers are selected at random to receive $100 gift cards from our Kent Frazier memorial fund and you will be entered in that drawing. There is also some free beer, cheese balls, and a lot of gratitude from the racers.

One last shout out to Richard Dammel and Russell Clarke for their support in this role the past four years. Your help was greatly appreciated.
