Whencan we expect to see the Black & White on be added and playable in PTCG Live? I'm not going to lie, I was a bit disappointed to see that it wasn't available at launch. I've been patiently waiting for expanded to make a come back.

There are so many benefits to having expanded around it's not even funny. I think sometimes it can be a bit scary for specifically new players because of the amount of cards but that's the beauty of expanded. You can literally make anything work! On top of that it keeps card playable and the value of whatever collect high.


I made the same question some days ago, i really miss expanded! the cards are already in there, it should be not that hard to insert such things in the game, specially for a company of the size of pokemon company.


No, I'm saying that since it's free you shouldn't expect AAA quality just because TPC is big. We also don't know enough about the situation to claim that they could have kept it going. What if Dire Wolf was the one that wanted out?


@Desarme I couldn't agree with you more. We have been waiting too long for something so simple to be implemented into TCGL. I've enjoyed expanded a lot especially in TCGO days and IRL too. There is no way they can just get rid of an entire format(especially when you can already see the expanded card on TCGL) it would just be a waste of pretty much every card that was ever printed. I mean without expanded, GLC format would not exist and loads of people enjoy that too. Patience is key. Good things come to those who wait. I'm glad someone other than myself feels the same pain I do.


@TechHog What I mean is the amount of time, they have had with this game to improve it and get rid of these bugs and make it a functioning game is a lot to say the least. Pokmon is a well known company that racks in huge amounts of finance yearly and it surprises me that they can't dedicate the necessary amounts of capital to make this game good and actually playable.


I created an old favourite deck so I could play against a friend online, but the game doesn't seem to be letting me. Most of the pokemon in the deck I created are older cards, and therefore banned from standard format. I can use the deck fine when playing 'expanded format with people I don't know. But I don't seem to be able to play expanded format with my friend? Which seems very strange, and quite frustrating. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

I've been chalking this up to "R"NG, but it's been more than a week and it's affecting every Pokmon I try to catch - and made Beldum Community Day a very frustrating event. (Note: I have the Gold Badge for every Type of Pokmon, so I'm getting the maximum bonus on the catches for every Pokmon I run into.)


For the last 10 days or so (since the update was first released) I've had to hit almost every Pokmon with a Nice Throw or use a Razzberry in order to catch them. No matter what the level of the Pokmon is; I've had 2 Level 1 Shuppet's jump out of Curveballs where I didn't get a Throw Bonus just today, for example.


It seems to be that if I don't use a Razzberry (Pinap's and Nanabs don't help), I have to hit a Nice Curve in order to catch the Pokmon. On CD, we had a weather boost I had to use Great/Ultra Balls AND Nice Curveballs to catch even the Level 4 Beldums. And even with the Great/Ultra Balls, if I don't hit at least a "Nice" Curveball the Pokmon jumps out.


I have had 10 CP mons run from me even when hitting them with curves (granted, some of them were visual bugs and afterwards the mon was in my storage) so i guess there is no guaranteed 100% catch rate or they are RNG bugs (more likely the latter) so don't despair!

Just for placebo effect i would re install the app though


Based on my own experience I think Niantic might tune it down secretly as it's double catch candy now. My first 2 Giratina both ran away. I got gold badge on both Dragon and Ghost. With in total 29 balls, half golden half pinap and almost every ball great curve throw it's really rare not catching either of them. Or it's just my bad day, but I highly doubt it.


Legendaries are way harder to catch (2% base catch rate and i think weather boost makes even harder catching them since they lvl up, so the weather could have been your problem too). Anyway on Zapdos day i had 4 consecutive Zapdos flee from me so since then i'm not surprised with any shenanigans regarding legendaries catch rate


A common yet frustrating occurence in the history of Pokemon GO. I know there are some pokemon that are supposed to have 100% catch rate combos break free without a shake and flee. It's pretty sure this is not rng but trying to make you buy Pokebslls, which does not work because red balls are pure garbo.


Lvls 1 shouldnt jump, unless soft ban, but i must agree, that catch rate for all mons is lower and they jump out even with green catch circle with curved balls with at least nice bonus. Annoying as hell.

This cheat is meant to be for Rare Candies. However, this hack made it so that the cheat will give you an Unusual Candy. It has no value, so using this cheat may not be worth anything. Even the description says it all.

Poke Mart Items for Purchase

I found some codes I have not yet seen for the Poke Mart. Hopefully, the majority could use them, they worked for me perfectly! Some codes like Rare Candy only allow you to buy 1 at a time. However, having the $1 cheat on allowed me to purchase multiple.


turns out if you use the masterball cheat, its detected when you walk into a pkmn center or mart, and they lock you out of those services unless you start a new save. this dev really hates cheaters lol


You see, some folks have been upset since Niantic reverted Community Day's hours back to a pre-Covid timeframe in April. When Covid hit, the studio extended Community Day from three to six hours, which gave players plenty of time to get out and about without having to come into contact with many people.


But, according to Niantic, the main reason it decided to return to a three-hour event was that only "5%" of players participated for more than three hours. The company also felt that since the majority weren't participating at the same time, extended hours didn't foster a sense of community as there were fewer folks available to "play together and connect outside" during the later part of the day.


How this will work is after the three-hour Community Day event ends, players will be able to challenge four-star Raid Battles. Winning one of these raids will cause more of the featured Pokemon to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. The caveat is that these Raids can only be accessed with Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes, meaning that you cannot use Remote Raid Passes.


While the event is live, you can enjoy 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period, 2 chance to receive Deino Candy XL from catching Deino, 2 Candy for catching Pokemon, Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours, and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.


One additional special trade can be made during the event and up to five hours afterward for a maximum of three for the day, and trades made during the event and up to five hours afterward will require 50% less Stardust.


This mod is not compatible with the newest community version of Reborn (e19.5): the mod content has been integrated into the base game and installing the mod will only break things. The downloads are being left up for those still playing on e19.0.16, but are no longer being actively maintained.


This mod extends the NG+ capabilities newly introduced in Reborn E19 to some of the game's other puzzles/sidequests, allowing players to skip said puzzles/sidequests if they have a save file that has already completed them.

Version 4.0 of the mod contains a bug (oops) that may freeze your game upon entering the Grand Hall basement. If you're reading this, you're probably not one of the people who really needs to hear this, but please download and use the most recent version.


Download the above folder and unzip, then copy the "Data" folder into your base Reborn folder, overwriting files when necessary. I highly recommend making a backup of the old .rxdata files in case something goes wrong or you no longer want to use the mod; a list of the modified files and their functions is in the "info.txt" file included in the download.
