VolvoSmart View with Obstacle Detection lets you focus on work while your Volvo looks out for you. It gives operators a 360 view of the machine's surroundings thanks to the camera and the new radar detection system.
On a busy site, operators may worry about injuring someone, damaging the machine or property at the site. Volvo Smart View with Obstacle Detection lets you focus on work while your Volvo keeps an eye on the surroundings.
Volvo Smart View with Obstacle Detection can identify obstacles as either an object or a human being, allowing the operator to take appropriate action. It gives operators an enhanced real-time view of their surroundings and automatic alerts on the high resolution monitor if obstacles are detected.
Volvo used deep learning technology when developing the Smart View with Obstacle Detection. It means that even someone crouching, moving or leaning can be detected. Neither does it matter what color clothes someone wears; everyone is visible.
The Volvo Smart View with Obstacle Detection lets you set how far you want the radar to reach. For those working in confined spaces this is a useful feature - a smaller space requires a smaller radar area. You can also customize the sectors you would like to see, on the easy to use- touch screen.
I have a samsung galaxy S8 and I cast my phone screen to my Tv using a google chromecast.
whenever I take photos or video I always shoot in landscape mode, never in portrait mode.
the problem i have is I'd like to record video on my phone while at the same time casting to TV so I can monitor the live image on the TV. but when I open the camera on the phone the image on the TV locks into portrait mode (see the picture attached). the image on the phone itself is correct but it's on is side on the TV.
all other functions on the phone work fine in landsape mode and they cast correctly to the tv in landscape mode but the opening the camera app suddenly flips the TV image on its side into portrait mode. any solution to this?
thankyou but the rabbit hole just goes deeper.
if I search for apps on my phone there is no smart view (screenshot 1). however I do have a smart view app that appears in my settings (screenshot 2) but all that does is give me app info and the the disable button is greyed out (screenshot 3) which tells me the app may not be enabled in the first place. still scratching my head....
"Screen rotation displays content in landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) and isn't available for all apps"
I have a feeling in my bones that screen rotation is not supported in the camera app. I managed to lock the screen in landscape mode and my homepage and all other apps appeard in landscape mode screenshot 1). but when I opened the camera app the screenshot was in portrait mode (screenshot 2). unless I'm mistaken the the camera appears to be cemented into portrait mode and nothing will change it.
when I took screenshot2 I was holding the camera in landscape position.

A high definition recording opens with two young girls in the center of an open concept kitchen in an upscale modern house on a sunny day. The floors, cabinets, and ceiling are polished hardwood. The kitchen leads into a partially sunken living room with the same flooring. In the far end of the living room is a pile of logs and a wood stove beneath long windows.
The girl with the cat draws the attention of the child with the spoon, who spins around on the stool. As she prances with her toy off to the left, the SmartCamera automatically pans to follow, keeping her in the shot. The camera refocuses with the girl and cat in the center of the shot, revealing a rustic picnic table in the kitchen and exposing the rest of the large living room in the background.
The girls have an animated conversation as the camera focuses on the activity, smoothly sliding between them both while keeping everyone in view. The child with the cat walks backwards toward the living room and the other spins around on her stool as the camera automatically refocuses.
The girl finishes her snack and climbs down from the stool. As the girls approach the camera on the way to the dishwasher, the shot zooms out to encompass their path beneath the lens. The girls exit the scene and the camera stays focused on where they were.

If you have different manufacturers you can probably still accomplish this, it would just take a little googling to figure it out. I also use Amazon fire stick, which can show you a video feed, but currently of only one cam at a time
I use a Dell Optiplex 5050 micro PC hooked up to a TV and then download blue stacks which allows for IP cameras to be viewed without restrictions. I currently have 8 cameras on one 50" Samsung monitor displayed all at the same time with no issues.
The four-camera system in the Intelligent Around View Monitor gives you a virtual composite 360 bird's-eye view of your vehicle and the surrounding area from above. The system will also detect moving objects in real-time. Select from split-screen close-ups of the front, rear and curbside views to help you smoothly maneuver into a parking space. [[17]][[143]] The Intelligent Around View Monitor can help you see every side of your Nissan in a whole new way.
Using 4 wide-angle cameras mounted on the front, each side mirror and the rear, Intelligent Around View Monitor [[17]] [[1117]] creates a virtual overhead view of your surroundings. The Intelligent Around View Monitor detects moving objects in real-time by performing image processing of the image signals from its cameras.
When backing into a parking space, or while parallel parking, when you shift into reverse, the split-screen display gives you the rearview and the overhead perspective. Colored lines help guide you and help you to gauge the distance between your vehicle and another object. When you shift into drive, the display automatically switches to the front view.
As part of Intelligent Around View Monitor, if one of the four cameras detect a moving object around your vehicle, either when you're stopped or moving, the system warns you with a display message and warning chime.[[17]] The display unit will also indicate which direction the moving object is coming from, so you can instantly have more awareness about what's around your vehicle.
When the transmission shifts to reverse, your display monitor will change to a live picture of the area directly behind your vehicle. The color lines display the approximate distance between an object and your rear bumper.

I would like to know why there is no option to be able to share a device with another person in the same household. If there is a way besides me logging into my Roku account on every mobile phone, please let me know. My boyfriend and I work different days and would both like to have access to the camera.
This is a greatly missed feature. I need the ability for another family member to be able to look in on the cameras to check on the dogs. Maybe an account type that can only arm, disarm, and view everything but not make changes? Please add this to the suggestion box.
We're glad to assist you with your inquiry. Please be advised that the only way to view the Roku Smart Home camera's video is to sign in to your Roku Smart Home account, where your cameras are linked, on the other person's phone. This way, he or she can start viewing the camera's videos. Once you decide to discontinue his or her access, you'll have to manually sign out of his or her phone.
Did I hear that right? The only way someone else can monitor my cameras is by logging into my account? Seriously? So, everyone with access has full control over my security system? That's the least secure thing I've ever heard of and defeats the entire purpose of having security cameras in the first place.
