Hi

I have tried to add one extra field under Physical storage, even though I managed to create the new field, but on the display right side, it keeps giving the strong name as "Untled", when I click edit or rename Physical storage, it bomb's out.
Please help.

Kind regards

Obe Senare

Hi Obe,

If you show us the code we may be able to help.

Hi Sir

Please find my attached screen shot of my codes, I'm sorry I still don't understand the better way of posting my code yet.
On my screen shots, all the fields I highlighted with the red marker, its all the fields I want to add on the existing strong, even though I do see them after my code, the problem is the context field on the right side of the main screen show the created strong as "untitled" name, please please can you help.

I also please want to ask, why does atom allow duplicates on the take on screen? Can the duplicates be stopped? Is it possible? If so how?

Many thanks and regards

Obe

Hi there,

I'd recommend posting your code to a repository somewhere like github. That's the best way to go as I could also run your code locally and debug it.

Thanks,

Hi

Is github a downloadable software? How does it work, I never used it before, if I can understand it, I will send it right away.

Kind regards

Obe

github is a hosting platform for software development projects, you can sign up and create an account and a repository where you'll be able to push your code from the command line via git, see more here: http://github.com/help

Hi Guys

Just want to find out if it's possible to make atom to only capture only one record once and don't all duplicates? Is there a reason why the system take duplicates?

Kind regards

Obe

Hi Obe,

Can you please describe what you mean a bit more? AtoM is not generally intended to create duplicate records, so it sounds like there may be a problem with your installation. Let us know more about what version of AtoM you are working with, what your installation environment is like, whether or not you are using an external hosting provider or if you are hosting it yourself, and some exact steps to reproduce your problem. With that information, our developers might be able to make some recommendations on how to resolve the duplicate issue.

In the meantime, it's possible that it is a problem with your search index. If you are hosting it yourself and have access to the command-line, try clearing the cache, and repopulating the search index.

Clear the cache:

$ php symfony cc

repopulate the search index:

$ php symfony search:populate (on AtoM 2.x) or $ php symfony search:populate QubitSearch (on ICA-AtoM 1.x)

Cheers,
