Hi ,

We here at ICFA - Dumbarton Oaks are attempting to create a new template for Atom to store our Image Collections. To start ,I tried to create a new directory within the Plugins directory of  our Installation but I am not able to get "Add new Folder" option. Is this something intentional so that anyone cannot modify the Plugins Dir. or is it something else.I am able to copy-paste the default directory "sfDCPlugin" to create "sfDCPlugin copy" , but then I am not able to rename the new directory. Can you direct me on how to proceed.

In addition ,is there any documentation you can refer me too where I can learn how to Register a new Template Plugin within the Atom.

FYI, I have the Atom installed on a Mac OS 10.6.8.

Thanks , in advance !

This sounds like a filesystem permissions issue - ICA-AtoM has no way to
limit read/write access.

Unfortunately the documentation we do have for theming is very rough and
needs a lot of clean up:
https://www.qubit-toolkit.org/wiki/Theming

There are a number of other institutions that have themed their version
of AtoM, hopefully they can provide some feedback on difficulties or
shortcuts they encountered.

Regards,
David
