Hi there,

We've just encountered issue 2332: "Authenticated user not assigned to a group can add, edit, and delete repositories".  The description of this issue is phrased in such a way as to suggest that simply adding a user to a group will fix the problem, but this does not seem to be the case for us. Is there any way (or workaround) that we can use to prevent certain users from changing/adding archival institutions, whilst allowing them access to authorities and collections?

Many thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

I am sending a copy of your message to Dan Gillean, he discovered this issue during the testing phase and he may know more about it. Otherwise, we'll just update the title accordingly.

Thanks for your interest!

Hi Mike,

Dan thinks that you are correct. He will update the issue accordingly when he is back.

Unfortunately, I haven't had time to look for a fix or a workaround.

Regards,
