Hi there,

complete Newbie to the package but fairly Mac savvy. Managed to install the VM followed the instructions and I think that I have the settings correct and have the ICA-Atom running, however, when I use Safari to access the address http://192.168.56.101 the page fails to open.

The only clue I have is that the terminal screen give me the following:

in order to access Atom, you must enable the host only adapter in the network adapters.
Once the host only adapter is enabled can you access Atom here:
Host only adapter not configured, please setup before continuing.

atom login:

However all the adpater settings are as the instructions.

Any clues?

Kind regards,

Mat

Hi Mat,

I'm not sure what the issue is that you are encountering, but have you considered trying out AtoM 2 instead? Same developers, same open source license, same basic code-base, but with a new UI, an improved search index, some new features, and a completely rewritten user manual. We also have a Vagrant box for local testing which is much easier to use for local testing. At this time, we are not actively maintaining the legacy ICA-AtoM branches, and all future development will be concentrated on AtoM 2.

Some links to get you started:
Most relevantly, here are links to the the AtoM 2 Vagrant installation instructions:

Not the answer you were looking for perhaps - but if you are still in the process of getting set up, this is a great time to consider looking at AtoM instead of ICA-AtoM.

I will try your suggestion and see how it goes.
