Drupal code base

Which Drupal version was used as the code base for AtoM? We are trying to customise the themes and we would like to try to use the ones that we can download from drupal.org

Hi Nkosinathi,

I suggest taking a look at the sfDrupal plugin - it appears to me that Drupal 7 may have been used, but I'm not sure, it may have been an earlier version - see: https://github.com/artefactual/atom/tree/2.x/plugins/sfDrupalPlugin

Drupal has been used very minimally in AtoM, for some javascript functions, and with the translation interface. The majority of the theming is actually built using Bootstrap 2. Dominion is the base theme, and we recommend that other themes are built to extend and style Dominion - see: https://github.com/artefactual/atom/tree/2.x/plugins/arDominionPlugin

The ArchivesCanada theme, which is included as a reference for developers interested in custom theming, can serve as a model. See: https://github.com/artefactual/atom/tree/2.x/plugins/arArchivesCanadaPlugin
