1.0.9 installer problem in IE

Hi,

I'm installing icaatom-1.0.9 using IE (don't ask why I am using IE) and am encountering a problem -- I've gotten through the db setup page but the Site Configuration page seems broken, specifically, the CSS seems odd and there is no way to submit the form, no button and none of the fields appear to recognize enter.

Any way I can get out of this without dropping the db and restarting in a real browser? Below is the output from IE's Javascript debugger.

I think that this problem is not caused by Internet Explorer. configureSite template makes use of a Symfony helper called "form", which is preloaded in "apps/qubit/config/settings.yml". This file is created in the first step of the installation process, checkSystemAction, from a template called "apps/qubit/config/settings.yml.tmpl".

However, the installer can't create this file if you don't set the correct permissions to qubit directory.

Hi Mark! Not sure what happened here - I just tried and successfullly
installed 1.0.9 with Internet Explorer...

Meanwhile, to get around this problem, try copying, "apps/qubit/config/
settings.yml.tmpl" to "apps/qubit/config/settings.yml", and clear the
cache:

$ cp apps/qubit/config/settings.yml.tmpl apps/qubit/config/
settings.yml
$ ./symfony cc
$

With luck, the "Site Configuration" page will work now, without having
to restart the installation?

I tried to install ICA-AtoM 1.0.9 in IE8 and I could reproduce the problem that you described us.

I found the problem with IE into the installer.

I would recommend you to start the installation procedure again, but please apply the patch below before you open the installer: http://www.sevein.com/tmp/qubit.iepatch.patch

This patch works against ICA-AtoM 1.0.9.
