Turning off Camera + Microphone on Lenovo T420 - Bios enough?

Hi.

Was wondering if anyone knew if it REALLY turned the microphone and camera off if turned off in bios?
Or does it have to be unplugged on the computer hardware itself.

Know some of the devs used the T420, so i was hoping they knew.

noone probably knows except the manufacturer man. Just cover the camera with a piece of paper and some scotch tape. Maybe you can take apart the computer and find out where the microphone is and cover that too lol.

Assign a usb-vm with no networking and put the USB controllers, camera
device in there.
Qubes by default requires you to "enable" the mic for an appVM in VM
Manager before it can record audio.

Black electrical tape over camera always best.
