Hello dear Qubes OS Berlin users!

This is the monthly reminder of the upcoming Qubes Users Berlin Meetup! :)

The meetuo will take place this Friday, 26.06.2026, from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at xHain, a hack+makerspace at Grünberger Str. 16 in Friedrichshain.

Come enjoy a relaxed and welcoming evening with fellow Qubes enthusiasts with friendly discussions about Qubes OS topics & casual networking with like-minded community members.

Recent Meetup Highlights

We had an amazing session last month with Ben where we dove into some interesting development work and had a look over different issues.

One of the issues examined was #9912, which led to a detailed discussion about the implementation approach and fundamental questions regarding policy file handling in the GUI editor. For those curious, check the comments in #9912 for more details!

Corey also worked on Bluetooth-related notification issues, starting with one he experienced and continuing with a follow-up issue, resulting in 2 PRs to qubes-notification-proxy and 1 upstream PR to blueman.
