Hi everybody,
I happened to notice that the RPMs needed to upgrade the qubes tools
inside templates to fc26 have appeared, and started my usual
clone-upgrade process to test the viability of the new major version.

So far I don't have any problems with the manually-upgraded fc26
templates (sudo dnf upgrade --releasever=26), the following software
tools work just as before:
* firefox
* thunderbird
* urxvt
* monodevelop (from flatpak packages)
* android studio
* the usual gnome file manager

And I did not have any problems with the UI tools interacting in any
weird way. So smooth.

Only thing I noticed is that now font settings seem to have changed - I
had set Bitstream Vera Sans as the default font in gnome-tweak-tool and
now I find Cantarell, and fonts in urxvt now are aliased and to fix that
I had to enable "Xft.antialias: true" in my .Xdefaults.

I still have to check the customized template for dispVM where I
compiled the samsung printer drivers, but I don't expect any major
problem there either.

Updating the unsolicited feedback with more information; I found that
other people have had troubles with fonts and upgrading fc25 -> fc26
(i.e.
https://utcc.utoronto.ca/~cks/space/blog/linux/Fedora26FontDilemma), and
I'm working to understand what happened to my configurations.

I checked that the customized template with Samsung Printer Drivers do
indeed work and print, and also LibreOffice and Pinta work just as usual
- albeit with the messed up font rendering.

Thanks for the feedback!
I also noticed fonts difference, but haven't investigated it yet.

Indeed, the changed font settings in Fedora26 are really irritating.
Comparing the rendering between Fedora25 and Fedora26 via gnome-tweak-tool,
that is, looking at them side-by-side, the Fedora26 fonts look fairly different. Have the default fonts changed for Sans Regular, Monospace Regular, or is it just the rendering?

Has somebody solved the problem yet?
