Qubes 3.2 Networking under Qubes VM.

I'm trygin to get networking working on Qubes 3.2 Guest, but it's keeping on telling me that the PCI device is assigned already, yet there isn't anything running other than dom0 in the guest.

Any thoughts?

I'm now getting the error again that it can't be reset, but this time it's telling me that's it can't be because no FLR, PM reset or bus reset is availble.

Is it trying to access the device directly rather than using a false device that is meant to be given to it as the NIC that connects to the sys-net ?

It says it's 00:04.0, but in dom0 (real) it is 07:04.0 for the NIC.
But the guest seems to want to talk to the 00:04.0 with identical information.
Is it a device that appears masquerading to be a real device to create the virtual link to the NetVM/ProxyVM ?

At the moment, I have the 2 guests under the guest set up so that when I have the answer to the NIC issue, I can then perform the dom0 update and install the 3 pieces of software I need to then be able to install the software I want to install under it.

But this whole thing is very annoying.

Mareck, is it a similar issue to the previous reset issue that happened last time when I was trying to access PCI device in dom0 (real) ?

I think it's similar, and I'll find that command and try it again for assigning the device and post back here on the forum with the result.

Does anyone know how to get this working?
