Problems with Alfa usb network adapter

I am having serious problems trying to make my adapter work on sys-net VM.
I bought an Alfa UBDo-gt8 Outdoor Wireless Adapter which has a RTL8187 chipset.
I tought that it would work out of the box but didn't so I tried to install the drivers but also with failure, because they need to touch the kernel and qubes kernel is only RO. So after that I decided to install a custom kernel on a fedora-23 TemplateVM which after was assigned to my sys-net VM and everything was going fine.
Now I'm running 4.4.7-300.fc23.x86_64 kernel on my sys-net but the problem still persist after installing another package of drivers and I don't know what to do.
By the way I have tried to install UBDo-gt drivers that came with the CD but they are old drivers and I am not able to compile them because of errors with kernel versions.

And it keeps going....
The problem that I see is that the usb keeps disconnecting but I am not sure if this an issue with the drivers or with the USB interface.
Can someone help me with this issue?
