Hi there!
I was trying to install Qubes R2 on VMware Workstation to try it out,
although it's not recommended, and did fail at many steps.
VMware Workstation 10.0.3 build-1895310, running on HP EliteBook 8570p

The only kernel version that succeeded to get to the step where anaconda
is loaded is 3.9.2-3. All other options end up hanging with a black
screen while nothing happens.
First try:
* Chose only xfce installation
* Went to Installation destination
* Left Installation destination with defaults
* Entered passphrase
* Pressed Done button
**ACT** Installation Destination is marked with a warning sign and
"Failed to save storage configuration" message. The UI hangs, no
elements are clickable (screenshot attached).
Second try:
* Left kde+xfce installation (default)
* Went to Installation destination
* Left Installation destination with defaults, but dropped the
encryption checkbox
* Pressed Done button
**ACT** Installation destination is marked with "Saving storage
configuration", which hangs there forever. The UI is, however, operational.
