Has anyone else experienced this?
I had not done any other installs or changes that could be associated with the bridge not starting.
Part of my troubleshootin included going to the seperate directories and removing the installed items from the original install, and removing the directories that were created during the install, and then re-attempting a fresh install - No Joy.
Any help/recommendations would be very much appreciated.
Thank you,
Chip
Have you tried installing the bridge in a templateVM like debian9?
I have installed the bridge in both Qubes 3.2 and Qubes 4 in the template debian 9.
Then I created an app based on debian 9 called protonmail where I started the bridge and put all my credentials in and connected it to Thunderbird like described in their instructions.
Worked well for me ever since. Updates have to be installed in the templateVM as well. It shouldn't be anything different from other programmes or scripts like tasket's VPN which should als be installed in a templateVM.I haven't tried fedora but I guess it would work.
