Updating existing Debian-12 template to Debian-13 on Qubes 4.3 RC

Hi all,

I’m testing the Qubes 4.3 release candidate and noticed it ships with a
new Debian 13 template.
On my current system I already have a customized `debian-12` template
with a lot of software and tweaks.

Is there a recommended way to upgrade this existing `debian-12` template
to Debian 13 in-place (similar to a dist-upgrade) without replacing it
entirely with the new `debian-13` template that comes with the RC?

I’d like to keep my existing customizations if possible.
